I tried calling Quest Cohasset and got the the stupidest automated system ever, couldn't speak to a real person. (BS) Called my Doctors office to confirm blood work order was in. Doctors office confirmed order was in. So I scheduled and 7;45 appoint the next day. Showed up for my appointment. Told no order from my doctors office. Since Docs office wasn't open my trip was wasted. This not the first time QUEST screwed up and lost work order for Me. Wish there was another option, since their to cheap to pay someone to answer the dam PHONE.

Quick & easy... no wait and staff was very friendly. Just make sure you pay attention as it's a little hidden.

I was treated very nicely. The phlebotomis was great with me. She had no problem giving me a butterfly needle. I said 'ouch' and she said 'sorry honey'. I also had to give a urine specimen and I said I'm not good at that and she said I could use a 'hat'. You just put it over the toilet and pour it in to the cup after. A life saver. I would go back if I ever have to again. Thank you for your kindness!

I’m so glad I had such a positive experience here. I have an anxiety-inducing needle phobia but the lady was fabulous. I didn’t have an appointment and she helped me as a walk-in. She was super nice and kind to me as I cried. She also did an amazing job being gentle. Last year I had my blood drawn and I went to a different place (in Weymouth). It was a negative experience. I had a dark/ugly bruise for weeks after. The lady in Cohasset left no mark. I’m very impressed. Thank you, Quest lady!

Are they kidding?? They are asking for a second review?? Worst place I have EVER had lab work done! Made an appointment on line for date, time and location, which was confirmed! and when I arrived, lab was closed! With a sign that they had been closed since March! (2020-pandemic-but I was able to make appt??? for July??) Connected with Cohasset, MA location to which I had my MD fax over order. They didn't have it! Got order faxed again! Then had the labs taken. Guess what!! NEVER received at my physician's office! Requested TWO more times that results be sent! NEVER happened! Saw my doctor on 6/20/21. No labs received from Qwest. You totally SUCK! And your phlebotomist stabbed me so many times in BOTH arms that I had bruises for days. Worst experience I have ever gone through to get labs done from appt issue and beyond. Disgusted that you deem yourselves health care providers. Scam organization. Profit over professionalism.

I wanted to make sure I came on here today so let you know how great my experience at quest was. I have a severe needle phobia and it was not easy for me to walk though the doors. I made sure I told them about this and they were very receptive and understanding. I asked them to use a butterfly needle and they were happy to do that for me, as well as making sure I was in a chair that reclined to keep me comfortable where she checked in multiple times to see how I was doing. I was in and out in about two minutes, thank you for the great experience and kindness today!

I had an excellent experience at Quest today. Challenged with an out of state order which couldn't be transcribed, our phlebotomist Katie patiently worked towards the goal and her kindness was beyond any expectation!

Be careful when you book a preemployment drug test here. When you select the test and hit schedule the screen you get to "first" says they open at 7:30, you know it is only done by walk-in so you think you are all set right? WRONG. I was there at 7:30, they didn't have anyone waiting and they said "sorry we don't do drug screening until 8:30". Apparently you have to go to the next screen to find this out, but there is no reason to go to the next screen. Nice. They hung around doing nothing while I sat here writing this review. I asked to speak to a manager and they allegedly sent the manager my phone number, so far no call. To make matters worse, this is a retest because they screwed up the first test by not sealing the sample container properly. Have your employer find another testing company.

This location is convenient, the lab technicians are very nice and there's plenty of free parking. I have been to this location a few times. Now the cons.. One drawback is Quest has set up an automated voice mail system so you cannot access a live human for any questions about testing prep and fasting procedures. Also, at this location, most of the phlebotomists are not skilled at taking blood from someone with small/ difficult veins. They said they do not have many butterfly needles on hand but grudgingly used one on me (lol, I kept thinking: Should I have brought my own butterfly needle to a lab?! How is their lack of proper inventory the patient's fault?!). One of the nurses said she kept extra butterfly needles in her car and I kept thinking I am pretty sure I don't want to use a needle from someone's car. Quest should stock the lab better, make the voice mail system have access to an operator and provide better training for phlebomotists regarding the process for taking blood from patients with small, deep or difficult veins.

They're just rude here. I went in for blood work and when I told them to bill my insurance and if I owned anything I'd pay it after the girl at the front desk rolled her eyes at me. Why they're suddenly demanding payment JUST IN CASE your insurance doesn't pay for something is ridiculous. No I don't want a credit on my account when my insurance pays for everything because I don't have a deductible or co-insurance. Bill my insurance and if they don't cover something you can send me a bill for that. Just like the fact that I was there last week for a blood draw for work and they had my insurance but I go today and they suddenly don't.

Doctor sent over a request for some tests. I called Quest on March 28 to schedule an appointment. Was told an appointment not needed, they had the paperwork and just show up between 7:30 and 4pm and to fast for 12 hours. I went at 8am on Wednesday, April 3. They can't FIND the paperwork. I said I had called the week before that they had it then. They said they could not find it and there was nothing they could do. Last time going there!!!!!
