“I think my choice of going from yoga to power lifting speaks volumes for the gym and the coaches. Ashlyn is terrific -- warm and hard driving at the same time. She won the 2023 MA power lifting championship, and her coaching is focused on the techniques that over time mean the difference between injury and progress. Coming to the gym has been the highlight of my week!”

“I love being at spin classes here! Pre-pandemic, I was in a 5-morning-a-week routine at my workplace gym with a fun instructor and a great little crew. Coming to FireCycle for morning classes has revived my energy and enthusiasm for getting out of bed each day! I didn't realize how much I truly missed this kind of great cardio workout. It's a welcoming place with great instructors and it is CLEAN...I mean CLEAN. It is cleaner than pretty much anywhere in my house and for sure any gym or even restaurant I've ever been to! It's so easy to just drop in, hop on a bike with your water bottle, and get into whatever dance music or mashup the instructor has cued up. They provide towels and even a shower (did I mention how clean this place is?). Lots of street parking available for early morning classes. Come join the fun and get into a great healthy new routine!”

“I highly recommend Mason if you are dealing with an injury that's interfering with your training. I've had recurring lower back and shoulder pain over the years. I met with Mason and he identified the movement patterns contributing to the pain, took the time to explain why I would be feeling pain, and created a warm-up program to address the root causes and allow me to move more freely in my workouts and in everyday life. “I used to use various weight machines casually and inconsistently, I would invariably burn out on whatever exercise plan I tried to come up with on my own. Have never experienced consisent gains in strength like I have in the mere month I have been going to this place. Coaching is always spot on and Michael has an uncanny ability to catch at a glance from across the room whenever I've loaded an incorrect weight on the bar. Would recommend to anyone.”

“This review is long overdue. I couldn’t think of how to express my gratitude for this place without sounding like a complete cliche. I’ve always been into fitness- rec leagues, orange theory, barre and traditional gyms. I would go in- be on my phone til my workout started and then head out with a quick wave.

Tilt has broken me of that and made fitness a way to connect with people- not escape from them. It’s been a community for me when all my family is out of state and hours away.

There is something for everyone- the environment is supportive not competitive. Definitely give it a try!”

“I’ve been exercising at Title Littleton for 7 months and it’s been a fantastic experience. Most of the classes are boxing-focused with a couple of kickboxing sessions each week. Every class is instructor-led, starting with a quick warmup, followed by boxing, and finishing with a solid core workout. The coaches walk around to correct form, give encouragement, which makes a big difference.

I especially enjoy classes with Masha, Paola, and Shalton — they’re passionate, motivating, and push you to give your best. I’ve also been taking private “Mobility” sessions with Joleen, and she’s amazing. It’s an hour of stretching and floor exercises that has really improved my strength and flexibility.

I’ve gotten stronger, lost weight, and genuinely look forward to workouts here. If you don’t like the typical boring gym routine and want something effective, fun, and supportive, I definitely recommend Title Littleton.”

“Awesome gym run by people who go above and beyond every day. Expert and insightful coaching. Fun and inclusive community. Diverse schedule that includes CrossFit classes, yoga, and cycle. My teenaged daughter and I joined as workout buddies (they take kids aged middle school and up!) and we have gotten so much benefit out of belonging to Tilt for the last year and a half. Helping with the training, and I confess that she is simply wonderful, so professional, so dedicated and careful in what she does... “This gym is great, and I wish I could go more. I have been to other ymca's that were really sub-par, but this gym is clean, easy to navigate, and has a large variety of options. Also the sauna is great and when I take my son too the family restroom it is very safe and clean.

I stopped my membership for awhile and had to come back because it is a nice gym and during the winter it's a must. I edited to a 5 star because it is pricey but you get what you pay for. I just wish the child watch was open for people who are working a 8-5 job full time.”

“I started orange theory earlier this month and love it. My first class was with Emily who was great at showing me the ropes and making sure I had the movements down. Only down side is if you work later I to the evening like I do you may be limited to early morning work outs - thankfully BG carries enough energy for everyone and gets your day started the right way.”

“*****2nd Review written in September 2025.. I successfully finished the AV1 in the Dolomites this summer. I am grateful to Jazzercise for adequately preparing me for this physically demanding hike. As someone who does not typically hike, like myself, having completed two successful 10-day intensive hiking trips in Europe, I strongly recommend Jazzercise to individuals who are preparing for hiking.
****1st Review written in February 2025. Since joining Jazzercise Acton Center in 2018, I've achieved a great level of physical fitness. Jazzercise has enabled me to tackle challenging hikes, including a 10-day Tour du Mont Blanc hike through France, Italy, and Switzerland in 2023. I'm looking forward to another 10-day hike in the Dolomites, Italy this summer. I'm grateful for the wonderful and supportive Jazzercise teachers and classmates. Great variety of equipment and space, one payment so all members have access to everything, and never too busy to feel rushed to share space. “I love Longfellow and have been coming here for almost 50 years since I was a kid. It's a great place for individuals and families, but it's not perfect. Sometimes I can't get a lane for swimming laps, for example. Also, it would be nice if they had towels. That said, I'm shocked by the negative reviews, especially anyone lower than 3 stars. That's not a fair review; it's asking for perfection or whining. The club now offers FREE access to its Relaxation Room including the hydromassage chairs. The saunas were recently upgraded. The weights area is solid (the Natick more so than the smaller Wayland club). The staff is generally outstanding. The swim program and lessons are extraordinary. And the group classes - yoga+ - are outstanding. You get a lot for your money ... but bring your own towel;)”

“We were visiting my mom in Acton and decided to give Anytime Fitness a try. We were greeted by the owner who was friendly and knowledgeable. The gym is excellent. “Planet Fitness in Maynard is a convenient and well-maintained gym. The parking lot is large and shared with nearby stores and a supermarket, which makes it easy to run errands before or after a workout. The restrooms are clean and comfortable, and showers are available. Staff are generally okay, though not always the friendliest. The Black Card membership is definitely worth it and reasonably priced at around $25/month. Overall, a good gym — I recommend it!”

“I saw one of the PTs at Movement Workshop, Taryn, when I had a running injury that wasn't getting better with rest. In addition to manual therapy work, she built a progressive mobility and strength program that has my runs feeling better than than have in years. She understood my goals and was able to make the home program work with the equipment I already had. We were also able to address areas that weren't specific to what I thought was the injured area. Although I'm done with PT, I'm looking forward to continuing to work with with Taryn in the small group training sessions.”
