“Dan's Auto Repair shop has been my go-to place for a few years. Recently I took my 18 yrs old Rav4 there for brake pads and rotor replacement. Shortly after I returned to work, Jesse reached out via text message with details on the work and new parts needed. He also notified me some other issues revealed after the vehicle was lifted and wheels were taken off. Addressing these issues require specialized work that is not performed there. Jesse recommended a shop who is specialized in this type of work.
It's always a pleasure when I take my cars there for service. The waiting room is nicely set up. Everyone there is friendly and accommodating. They do quality work to keep my cars in good shape. When the repair needed is out of their reach, they will recommend reputable specialists to ensure the work will be done properly. Dan's auto repair shop is like the primary doctor of my cars. “This place is great to get State Inspections done. Been using them for two vehicles for a couple years and it has been excellent.
It is first-come-first-serve, so if several cars ahead of you it can delay you, but they have a nice waiting area and the convivence of dropping in has worked great for me. They will also tell you how long to expect (depending on how many cars ahead of you) and their ETA is accurate.”
“My wife's 2019 Prius only has 19,000 miles on it but the dealer claimed it needed a lot of work. I took it in for an inspection sticker, oil change, and tire rotation and they recommended another $1300 of work. Mark determined that the A/C refresh and brake fluid exchange were not needed. He explained why the rear brakes DID warrant replacement, due to rotor corrosion, and did so at 75% of what the dealer wanted.”

Everyone was honest about the condition of my filters and my tires, and even resisted upselling when I left myself wide open for more purchases. “Front wheel was making a horrible racket, sounding like metal on metal and getting worse over a few days. Who knows what it was. Paul fit me in the next day. But when I dropped it off, naturally the noise was gone. His mechanic took it on the highway and drove it around - they took the wheel off and looked at the brakes and bearing. Concluded that whatever it was, it had resolved - perhaps a rock or something. Didn’t charge me anything but suggested if it comes back to drop it off immediately and they would check it out.”
