A great family owned business. Excellent service and knowledgeable staff put them head and shoulders above every other hardware store. Since they are affiliated with True Value, the prices are good also as they buy in bulk with the big dogs.

This is an excellent store with a lot of history here. Members of the original family work here and they have great stories and products. Well laid out for the locals and travelers as well. Definitely worth a visit.

Their slogan can't be more true. If they don't have it, you likely don't need it. I've lost many bets with wife betting that they wouldn't have something only to find out that they have it. Forget Amazon. This is the true everything store.

Ordered online for curbside pickup. Ordering was easy. Not a lot of parking by the store (more in the rear) and there are only a few spots in the front if you were able to snag them. They brought out the light bulbs I ordered and put them in my car. They even wrapped the four sets of two bulbs together in plastic so they would stay as one package and taped the receipt to it. Well done. Thank you.

Vanderhoof Hardware is almost an institution in Concord Center. What's makes them so good to me is that they have such a varied selection, good prices, incredible knowledge and service, and, cut the best keys west of Moody Street!

This is a superb store with superb service. Hard to pick an example of their outstanding help from so many instances over the years. They sharpen blades, fix broken lamps, talk through and solve myriad home-owner problems . Once needed to move some large (100 pound) stones and the owner insisted on lending me his hand cart rather than having me purchase one. One of the true benefits of living in Concord is having easy access to Vanderhoofs. I love the store and the staff.

Scott and staff are fantastic. There is not one thing that they don't know about and sell in my fifteen years of trading with them. A true throwback local help ware store where they not only sell hardware but know about how to solve problems. From removing rust stains from sinks to helping figure out how to fix a leaking pipe Scott and team are willing to give advice. The friendly smile and knowing customers by name is a great bonus!

Recently purchased a new Webber grille from Vanderhoof's. For same price as big box store, they delivered the fully assembled grille right to our front door. Great service and we are supporting a local Concord business. Don't be fooled by how compact the store is - they have everything! Store is very clean and organized and the service cannot be beaten.

Once again, absolutely outstanding service and knowledge of all things hardware. I can call Scott or Thomas , place an order for pick up and get a text back within minutes that items ready for pick up! You can't get that at a mass merchandiser. Family owned, local residents and awesome service!

I've always enjoyed this store and appreciated the limited but high quality inventory, friendly and helpful customer service, and convenience of its location. Since I moved to another town, however, it hasn't been first on my list simply because I have other hardware stores closer to me.... But today, after having a maddeningly unhelpful telephone exchange with an employee at a nearby competing hardware store, I hung up the phone and said, "I'm calling Vanderhoof!" In minutes, Scott, the owner, patiently talked me through removing the broken part from my toilet tank and promised to wait for me to drive over to get it, despite it being close to closing time. My new part cost me $6.36 and I was happy to be able to install it myself. I am so grateful for good, old-fashioned service from a family business since 1904! I need to get over to Concord Center more often.
