I'm an athletic guy, now in my 50s. I've been helped by a lot of physical therapists over the years. Bryan is by far the best I've ever worked with.I went to see him with a series of severe problems brought on by two different back injuries. I'd already put in a ton of time with two other PTs, but had gotten nowhere. Then a colleague (who'd been through a similar story with his shoulder) referred me to Agile North. Bryan has put me through months of hard work, but it's paid off in a huge way: now I'm going to the gym 3x/week, running, and sleeping through the night. Bryan is super intense, with super results. He really, really cares about making you healthy. In preparing to go see him, think about the following:1) Communication is crucial. Bryan wants to understand your story in detail, and has a ton of information to share with you in turn. - When you fill out the intake forms, with your history, be thorough. Tell him what you've tried and what you're thinking. He's going to read it and think about it seriously.- When you go to see him, *listen*. I've done a lot of PT and I thought I knew the drill, but on my first visit I barely said anything for 40 minutes, and the more I listened the more he surprised me with incredibly important things I'd never heard before. Bryan is going to try to deeply reframe how you think about things in order to point you in the right direction, and he needs time to do it. Let him talk, and listen. 2) Bryan is going to help you get your body operating at full capacity again, not work on your symptoms. He is especially not going to work on pain with you. Listen to the man. On my first visit I couldn't tie my shoes without pain. A couple visits later he surprised me by having me deadlift small weights with my knees locked. Now I can deadlift two thirds of my body weight, and although I'm in my 50s with two back injuries that will probably never heal, I basically feel great all the time. He's an expert who knows what he's doing, and he's going to explain things to you so that you understand why you're doing them and why it's OK.3) Bryan is going to give you the tools you need to improve. You need to take it from there. For me, it was like a miracle to finally get pointed in the right direction, and know that all I had to do was put in the work --- this was a huge change from my earlier experiences, and hugely empowering. But it is work, and you have to be ready to do it.Agile North is the best PT experience I've ever had, and the best investment in my health I've ever made. Can't recommend it enough. Go see Bryan!

Bryan is the best PT I've ever been to. He understand that the body is not going to get heal by being passive. You have to put in the effort to get stronger and prevent future injuries.

I began my journey with Agile North after a hard fall down a flight of stairs.I am so grateful for Bryan and his commitment to health and strength. After working with him, my body is strong, and I was also able to avoid surgery! He is extremely passionate about what he does. He is dedicated to sharing his vast knowledge with his patients, assisting them in achieving and understanding their individual goals. He also takes pride in the cleanliness of his facility and the Covid procedures he has put in place to ensure everyone’s health and safety. I would highly recommend Agile North.

I was experiencing a muscle imbalance in my legs & hips due to overuse in cycling. Bryan helped me diagnose the situation and proposed the necessary stretching and strengthening exercises.Patients at Agile North PT should expect to be challenged physically, and engage in dialogue to fully understand your ailment(s). Being an athlete I strived to excel in my sport without any compromise, and that required a strict regiment of “at home” stretches and exercises along with a consistent use of the PT gym equipment a few days a week. Under Bryan’s guidance the muscle imbalance issues were resolved within a few months.I have been to several PTs over the years, most of them focusing on rehabilitation back to basic function as their success metric. Agile North PT is a step above your typical PT because they can help you over achieve basic function and lay the groundwork of muscle flexibility and strength, to avoid issues in the future.

Bryan is passionate and extremely skilled in assisting patients to, not only recover, but get back to 100%. He’s helped my wife and I recover from injury and maintain the active lifestyle we strive to live. I’d recommend Bryan to anyone seeking to stay active post injury.

Bryan and his staff truly are the best. I’ve been once before at his old location, and the results are always unimaginably great! The process can be arduous at first, but once you realize the need for your full effort and trust you see results and find strength you didn’t know you had. I would recommend Agile North, Bryan, Steph, and the rest of his great staff to everyone.

I agree with the first review from Scooter 100%.Bryan has a problem listening and it's "his way or the highway".My wife also used him and he berated her and wouldn't let her talkuntil HE was ready to listen. My wife just came from a specialist and she said that almost everything Bryan made her do was harming, not helping her.Bryan has zero people skills and has no empathy.

More than a Physical Therapist. Bryan gets you healthy. I'm a 2 time customer, as are both of my sons. Bryan and his team are the whole package. Smart, energetic and knowledgeable about overall health! Both of my boys had sports injuries and LOVED going to PT. Bryan really connected with both of my boys, and gave them inspiration and education about fixing their injuries and keeping the body in shape. They also have a program for healthy exercising and eating for children. Taking a look.

Wanted to share with everyone my second successful encounter with Bryan Labell and his team of therapists at Agile North in Danvers. I had previously sought out physical therapy for lower back pain (bulging discs) and was lucky enough to have been directed to Bryan Labell by my doctor. I had been experiencing lower back pain for many years which even continued after I had received shots to my back. After seeing Bryan and working on "my whole body" I was able to get back to a pain free existence. This pain has never recurred as I have stuck to the plan that Bryan had laid out for me.Well more recently I finally decided to get a nagging shoulder looked at and found out there was damage - but not enough damage for surgery to repair it. I have frayed/partially torn tendons as well as the beginnings of advanced arthritis. The doctor did not suggest surgery to repair this damage. Instead I had a cortisone shot and was told that I may find physical therapy treatment would help me deal with the pain. I was in great doubt that that could ever happen. I was in great pain and the thought that I was "damaged" but not surgically repaired , made me think nothing would help.I decided to look Bryan Labell up once again since he helped me so well for my back. I met with Bryan at Agile North and we set up a plan. Bryan explained to me the "whole picture" - that I was in need of strengthening and stretching not only for my shoulder but also all the body parts that are connected to and/or support the shoulder. Bryan and his team (thanks go here to Stephanie for her outstanding effort she put in with me) immediately started extensive massage and weight training and built me back up to as good as new. It took weeks but the results are evident. I am a 60 year old man that thought he would never be whole again but was dead wrong. I am pain free now and probably even more important - I am now better educated and more prepared to manage my health- and that is all thanks to Bryan and his team at Agile North. If you are ailing, and think things are too far gone, don't sit there and put up with pain. Go see Bryan and his team at Agile North and get yourself back in the ballgame! They work miracles!
