Great gym, well equipped weight room with plenty of space. The free weights are a bit dated but it’s got everything you need. Plenty of plates of all sizes, several barbells, benches, and a squat cage. The “crustiness” just adds to the overall vibe, which is a positive one! 😊

TDLR: Smaller facility but price is cheaper to match. Good staff and locker rooms.
This is one of the cheaper gyms around (especially with a pool), but its also smaller. The price matches with the facilities, which isn't a bad thing if you're someone who isnt on a strict schedule and can adapt their workout to whats available.
For example, the pool is 5 lanes and doesn't have a dedicates lane open for lap swim throughout the day. So youd need to specifically plan your visit around the pool schedule to ensure you can swim .
For staff, I give 5 stars as they're all friendly and helpful. For locker rooms I give 4 stars as they're recently renovated and clean.

Decent gym for the location. “Lap pool” often runs very warm, usually around 86-87 degrees which for some swimmers like myself, is way too warm. After not even 30 minutes I felt like I was going to pass out and felt so much better in a nearby YMCA pool where I could swim for more than an hour in cooler waters. This YMCA doesn’t have a “therapy pool” (which typically is smaller and has similar/slightly higher temps) and I think at this gym, they keep the temperature on the warmer side for those who may be seeking a therapy like pool. Some other YMCA’s have both a therapy and a lap pool.
If you like to swim in very warm waters-then this is the pool for you. If you prefer long distant swimming or sprints, I would recommend checking out a different pool.
Some of the weights/machines are outdated. They do a fairly good job cleaning the facility throughout the day and the locker rooms were recently renovated. Keep most of your belongings in your car- new lockers are on the small side and won’t fit a gym bag.

The pool is always closed. ?I was swimming today May 4, 2022 after ten minutes I was told the pool water was too warm and the pool will be closed for the rest of the day.

Love the Y! I used to come here for swimming lessons, gymnastics classes, and summer camp. For high schoolers, the YMCA has great opportunities for fun volunteer work— I especially loved leading holiday craft activities. They are also super accommodating of college students who would like short term memberships over break.
