Service department… GOD AWFUL…. The service clerks don’t have an idea what they are talking about, manager walks around like he owns the place with such high ego, waited 45 min to ask a 5 min question I left after I asked his receptionist “he won’t come out and do much right?” When he chuckled and said no I walked out… they lied to me about my trans being sealed and the scan would cost 200+ alone… I have concrete proof it isn’t sealed and can be checked… their mechanic also stated my explorer st has a 10r80… it does not it has the 10r60 that is also known to have the dipstick underneath but they don’t know that… And I told him but he acted like he knew the publications front and back… personally I would NOT BRING YOUR CARS HERE to get serviced if these mechanics don’t know what they are doing or take the time out of their day to check it out quickly…

A lot of back and forth about preforming recalls on my van. I refused one specific recall due to an on-going class action lawsuit. They told me either get all recalls done or NOTHING, they had me call corporate Ford to confirm… and they were on MY side saying it’s the customers discretion what recalls they want to get done. The service manager STILL refused!! Why even have me waste my time calling Ford if you were still going to deny my request anyway… seems like an ego/pride thing. All other dealerships were happy to assist me with my request. Never coming here or buying from them again. I’ll spread the word.

Years ago I was formerly a technician at another local Ford dealership. I did enough time there to know how shops work and good from bad and honesty.
I was forced to bring my truck to Danvers for service. I was very impressed with the accuracy and ability of the technician, as well as the communication, etc of my Scott, my advisor.
I paid a fair price for great quality work!
I recommend Danvers Ford!

They refused to perform warranty work on my vehicle stating my failed part wasnt covered. (360 camera system) and tried to get me to pay out of pocket. I knew the system was supposed to be covered along with 360 camera re-alignment , so I went to Kelly Ford after and they performed the repair which was fully covered as confirmed by Ford. Never going to Danvers Ford for anything ever. Incompetent service Advisors and service manager. I tell everyone I know not to deal with that dealer as a whole now. *Update to the response from Danvers Ford - I already had called about my situation to the service manager and he was not helpful and piggy backed what the service manager said. This was a scam attempt on me in my opinion and have no reason to have any trust with this dealer

i just bought a 2023 f 150 from this location and i was very impressed with everything the sales consultant, Edward. I had dealt with was very friendly, helpful, and considerate. he was able to help me with every step along the way as it was my first time purchasing a vehicle. and swiftly get me out on the road in my new ride. if your in the market for a new/used vehicle go check out the Danvers Ford location

Michael was a pleasure to work during the buying experience. He is knowledgeable about EVs and kept us informed. Unfortunately, he was let down by the prep department that put the removal of black finger prints from the right and left headliner and the main display screen in his hands.
Also, 2 caps that fit over the wiper blade base were floating around the frunk area and one actually lodged in a spot that prevented the frunk from latching properly. Micheal found and replaced the caps.
Update for6/24/25
My 2023 MachE came new with a charge kit that allows 240 or110 volt charging. I discovered the 110 cord was missing from my car. I asked Mike to find me one, even a used cord. I expected the cord to be provided at no charge. Mike and the general manager were adamant in claiming the dealership did not have to provide the cord as part of their certified used car agreement. A used cord runs about $80 on EBay. New they are over $200. This is terrible customer service and they have lost a customer for life.
I am adjusting star rating to one.

I have a 2021 Bronco Sport. I live in Peabody and I was told that Danvers Ford was a good place to get my Bronco serviced. I have been bringing the vehicle to Danvers Ford ever since I bought it. The Service Center has a great group of workers that are very knowledgeable and professional. I feel very comfortable meeting most of them, always a great experience. Once you trust someone you stick with them!!
Thanks to everyone at Danvers Ford
See you soon.
John
