This is my first HD truck purchase and I could not have chosen a better place. Travis Benner went above and beyond in all aspects of the purchase, still calls me weeks after driving off the lot to see how I am doing. Amazing. Travis is courteous, knowledgable and always made me feel valued and appreciated.Along with Travis, Mark, Rob and Cheryl made for a great team and unbelievable service. Although the car buying experience has changed comparatively speaking from the old days, it's good to know there are still folks out there who still do it the right way. Thank you all at Danvers Ford.

Do not bring your vehicle here for service! If I could give zero stars I would! My husband brought in his truck in October 2022 concerning a ticking noise he heard and the service people sent him away saying it was nothing. He continuously called for another appointment in the Spring and no one would call him back. He took it to another local garage that diagnosed the problem and wrote it up for him to bring back to Danvers ford because the issue would still be under warranty. My husband went in person and said he wouldn't leave until someone spoke to him. They finally gave him an appointment at the end of June to then tell him yes that is the problem but couldn't service until July 11th. We use the truck to tow a travel trailer and had to cancel travel plans to accommodate this appointment. We brought it in and it took my husband calling them 2 days later to find out what was going on. They said "oh we are too backed up right now we can't fit you in until September 20th"!! We canceled travel plans and booked a rental truck for a month! We contacted Salisbury Ford that took us in right away and said that Danvers pushed us off because they don't make any money off of warranty issues. Salisbury Ford Service was AMAZING to work with and communicated with us frequently. Very disappointed in the service department and we will not buy another vehicle from Danvers Ford either due to these issues.

They have always been responsive and attentive. And they have always taken care of whatever problem I'm having I suppose the issue that invariably comes up is whether or not I would have saved money if I had taken it to my regular (not Ford associated) mechanic, which I am frequently told is bound to be cheaper. I just don't know because I don't have any basis for comparison.

I made an appointment to have a switch replaced. The appointment was easy, timely and they were ready for me when i got there. it took 30 minutes and i was out the door. No muss, no fuss. Thanks!

Could not have been happier with the process here. After setting aside a Saturday to go look at vehicles, we ended up (quickly) leaving another dealership after a horrible experience. We knew we liked the Ford Explorers so we decided to stop in Danvers Ford.We knew right upon walking in we’d have a much more pleasant time here. We had Travis as a salesman and I wouldn’t hesitate to use and recommend him again. He was incredibly knowledgeable about everything that came with the Ford Explorer and really took the time to show us every feature and how it worked. The price was very reasonable and we couldn’t say no. They have a zero pressure and laid back environment, just incredibly pleased with the whole buying process here.Thanks again for everything!

Don't bring your car here for service. Had an appointment for a simple oil change at 11 am on Friday morning. After a number of unanswered phone calls and 2 visits where "our car is next", we finally got our keys back at 5 pm (they close at 530) with NOTHING having been done. The car hadn't even been moved. The GM in charge of the service department (Larry) only had to say "I'm sorry" and was completely useless. So if you want something actually DONE to your car, go elsewhere. We got NO service, NONE. Call to complain about it another day, he tells me to just go elsewhere. Nice customer service for what should have been a quick in and out 30 minute oil change.*Edited to note that I did call, before the reply to this review and was told to go elsewhere by Larry and not to come back. Don't waste your time.

I give Danvers Ford a 5 star review, but Ford Motor Co (FMC) gets a 1 star. I ordered a 2023 Ford Maverick XLT on 9/16/22. Signed a contract for a certain price and put $500 down payment - estimated delivery 9 months. Truck arrived on 7/26/23. Comes time to pay for the truck, FMC added an additional $500 to the price. $500 over the contracted price. Why?… Because they could (supply and demand I was told). From my point of view, if FMC had their act together, after I had initially placed the order, the truck should have been delivered within a month or two. If that were the case, there could be no justification for jacking up the price $500. But because of FMC’S ineptitude, I was penalized 10 months to get the truck, but to add salt to the wound, the additional $500. I can foresee that the 2022 orders rolled over to 2024 can expect at least a $1K to 1.5K increase over the agreed upon price (not a good way to build a devoted clientele). Danvers Ford helped alleviate some of the bad feelings by giving me a small break on some add ons. So far, I love the truck, but I’ll tell everyone to only get one if it’s on the lot. Otherwise, expect a long wait and jacked up prices.
