The tellers are the most impolite people I’ve met. If you don’t like your job that’s fine, but no need to show attitude. I wish I had their name. What a shame, some accountability should be held.

It seems like the tellers have a serious attitude problem.
It's like they're doing you a huge favor by waiting on you.

I had a bank account here for years. I didn’t use my debit card but I had a savings account. I wanted to close the account and when I went in to do so, it only validated me more. The tellers were very rude without even cracking a smile. When I asked a teller if they can help me close my account, they pointed me to customer service. The customer service representative was frustrated because that the teller had directed me to them because the teller had the ability to help me. When that teller didn’t want to help, she told another one to help. The second teller kinda sighed and didn’t even greet me. Honestly, these are prime examples of why I always felt uncomfortable coming into this bank. I prefer M&T bank across the street where they are friendly and LIKE to help.

I came in to open a checking account the other day and worked with a banker, Sara R, who was HIGHLY referred by 3 or 4 people I know very closely. Throughout and after my visit, I could not help but think about how professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant she was. Her presentation and representation of Eastern was that of a seasoned veteran with decades of finance & customer service experience. I am very happy with her service and will continue to bank with Eastern and refer for as long as she is there.

Terrible. Periodical I take a lump sum of cash out. A few times it was counted wrong so I always ask them to double check by using the counter of cash machine. I had asked the lady twice to use it to verify and she wouldn’t. She made me count it back myself. I said ok, now to verify myself can you please put it in the counting device. I think she might not have known how to use it or she just hated her job. Rudest people ever. And their ATM doesn’t work properly it’s delayed so plan to stay there for a long time to get money out.

Can a bank be too convenient? I plan to go to a cash only restaurant for dinner tonight so I went to my local bank and to my surprise they were open. Its Sunday, banks are never open on Sundays! I have to do laundry but was planning on getting quarters on Monday. I took an extra 20 out and got the quarters I needed today. Ruined my Sunday afternoon, now I have no excuse to not do my laundry today.

Unhappy tellers! I asked for crisp bills to put in a money gun for kids for Christmas. Nope head teller could not be bothered, gave me wrinkled old bills.Today went to get print out of last 2 Months bank statements for housing app. Teller made such faces at my request I felt uncomfortable. If they do not like their job please leave!

Bad experience...!!!!I applied for a job opportunity in one of branches ofthe Eastern bank then . The branch manager her name Adina , called me yesterday, Thursday, and she said to me, “We have hours to work, Friday , Saturday, and Sunday,Would you like that? I answered yes, and our location is in Danvers, are you familiar with that location? I answered yes, I live in Beverly, 10 minutes from Danvers.Question: When can you come to our officeI answered: I am ready any day during the week and weekend (I'm available). Will you come tomorrow, Friday,?I answered: come to the interview? She said: No, you come to work.I was very happy, pleasantly surprised, this speed I was appointed,I said : yesI went to the bank 5 minutes before the appointment, unfortunately, the reception by the bank manager, Adina, was inappropriate. She did not greet and welcome me and did not introduce herself to me I said , Hi , no answer (, impoliteness).” she said : Come and have a seat in( her ) office, she said to me. I had this Sonia help me but she didn't introduce me to Sonia and Sonia was upset and uncomfortable I didn't understand what was happening and why!!!!She was talking to me( Adina) arrogantly and arrogantly in a way that made me feel that her way and treated me was insulting and contemptuous.she was rude with me.She started talking to me with routine questions, but at the end I started to feel the question was an interrogation and a kind of investigation. She said I wish if you were a graduate with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, why didn’t you work in this field ?? ”.I got my Bachelor's degree in my country, out of USAEven she couldn't even pronounce Bachelor's word . on my resume!, it I don’t understand how she got to this position and read grammar didn't know.Kind of discrimination. She said well I have 2 more candidate for interview, the HR will contact you.I left the office and I heard they were laughing lowdly behind me.Then after half an hour I got email, from HR told me I haven't selected as a candidate? That was in the location 4 Federal Street in Danvers Massachusetts .Don't forget this name (ADINA) branch manager.
