The store itself is fine, fun to go for an odd poke, but the folks running the donation center (volunteers?) are very unpleasant and snappy. Apparently also really don’t like it if you try to make their lives easier by bringing up your donations to their sorting bin yourself. You’d think they’d be more grateful to people literally giving them stuff to sell for free, idk.

They keep increasing their prices on used goods. They are pricing cups and plates knowing full well it's the set individually. Instead of the set costing $20, they're charging $5 each item. They used to sell sets!

I think this is my favorite Savers. All Savers have high prices (4 stars) - some stuff at TJ Maxx/Marshalls brand new is cheaper, but if you're looking for things to up cycle (I sew) or older things (my kids want old clothes) it's great. This is the most well stocked and organized Savers I've ever been to. Staff were really nice!

Always alot to pick through. Other patrons can be oblivious and rude but not at fault of the business.

It's pretty nice thrift store, real big with lots of deals. The employees are great too, made it a very pleasant visit.

Today they actually had a huge selection of stuff. Very very unorganized the clothes sizes were all mixed around.

This store used to be great for finding good deals and unique items. Unfortunately, likely due to reselling, Savers decided to cut out the middle man and sell at EBay prices themselves. It doesn't work that way, now stuff sits. I'll go in there and see things that were there weeks earlier, that never used to be the case. Even worse, things from Dollar Tree or other discounters being sold at two, to fives times, original new retail. Or occasionally flat out trash, empty cookie tins, soda bottles, etc, that are not antique, but can be bought new across the plaza at Market Basket, still full of food for half the price.

Used to be my favorite place. Everything was so overpriced. $10+ for stained, ripped jeans… $10+ for sweaters with stains and holes… How do you charge people that much for poor quality? Its called “Savers” you’re supposed to save right?
Save yourself a trip and dont come here unless you’re trying to waste time

Too expensive. Go to Walmart and target. It is better.

I've always loved Savers until today. Someone made the decision to eliminate the public restroom. This definitely will shorten the time I may shop and limit the money I will spend. It's a big store with many places to browse. I understand there was a reason, however, for every problem there are usually more solutions than just eliminating something like a restroom.. j

I love the book selection and the staff are friendly.
However it always smells and there is no bathroom for the public anymore. I just think the building needs a deep cleaning.

My experience at the Savers in Danvers with an employee named Nick was absolutely unacceptable. On 9/6/25, Nick treated me with blatant disrespect. Rather than performing his job professionally, he condescendingly questioned the pricing of my items, implying it was my fault they were not marked correctly. Even worse, he grabbed items directly from my hands—an action that is entirely inappropriate for anyone in a customer-facing role.
His behavior was rude, unprofessional, and left me feeling seriously uncomfortable. No customer should tolerate being spoken down to or physically handled in this way. Management needs to investigate Nick’s conduct immediately, as his attitude and actions reflect poorly on the store. If this is how Savers Danvers treats its customers, the community's trust will quickly be lost. I intend to notify corporate about this incident and request decisive action. If Nick is unhappy with his career path or future, there is no excuse to take it out on customers.
