Despite this being my closest grocery store, I avoid it if possible. I find it overpriced and with a poor produce selection. There is often only one check out line open. Several times only the 12 items or less line has been open and I have been forced to self check out almost $300 of groceries! Poor customer service overall.

Store is overpriced to begin with and then they have the nerve to charge for paper bags. Will be shopping elsewhere many other supermarkets in Danvers MA such as market basket don’t charge for paper bags if you want to save time, hassle and money shop elsewhere.

I am overly sick of this stop and shop. It is the most half run food shopping center i have ever been too. Last year there was no one working the deli and all the cold cuts were pre packaged. This year i”m lucky if i spend less then 20 minutes in line at the deli because there is only 1 person actually working and someone else wondering around behind the counter. Today was the best one though. I walked in there 55 minutes before closing time and as i walk up
to the counter a customer walks away with cold cuts and the worker tells me that he is closed. I am overly sick if this stop and shop and will be taking my business else where. Market basket has 5 times the amount of customers and they do a much better job in a timely manner.

2stars for convenienceThey are very expensive-$2 more same brand same size milk for example in a different grocery store …plus seen any employees on the floor .Stop and go find a better price somewhere else.

This store has a larger than usual selection of Gluten-Free foods which my family appreciates because 2 family members have Celiac disease & can't eat anything with gluten. The employees super friendly and helpful attitudes makes me look forward to my food shopping. I enjoy this Stop and Shop location and I think you will too.

⚠️Concerns Over Security Breach⚠️I've been using the Stop & Shop app for a while, but I'm compelled to leave a one-star review due to recent security concerns. It has come to my attention that the app experienced a hacking incident, which raises serious questions about the safety and privacy of user data.While I appreciate the convenience the app usually offers, the apparent lack of robust security measures is alarming. It's crucial for a platform handling personal and payment information to have strong, reliable security protocols in place.I hope this review serves as a wake-up call for the management and technical team at Stop & Shop. I urge you to address these security issues promptly and transparently. As a customer, I expect reassurance that steps are being taken to enhance security and protect our data. Until these concerns are adequately addressed, I'm hesitant to continue using the app and would caution others about potential risks.

This place is a TOTAL RIP-OFF when it comes to bottle and can deposits. They FORCE you to pay bottle and can deposits on drinks and then do not provide a RELIABLE way for you to return cans and bottles to get refunds on them! Not only is this frustrating and a WASTE OF TIME, it is ILLEGAL! Your machines SUCK! They NEVER work right! They can't read barcodes, the bottles like Cheerwine are not programmed in or the machines are full! AND they no longer take the bottles or cans at customer service! GET NEW MACHINES!!! Update 9/28/2023: Bottle and Can return machines still don't work 9 time out of 10! Now they charge for bags for your groceries! What a place!

A great shop for getting fresh produce, meats, cheeses and general food stuffs. Nice clean, bright shop. Loys of parking spaces.
