My recent experience with Toys n Things has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my ordeal. From prolonged delays to outright deception, this business has demonstrated a complete lack of regard for customer satisfaction and integrity.I made a purchase from Evan, eagerly anticipating the arrival of my product. However, as the weeks passed without any sign of my purchase, I began to grow concerned. After waiting patiently for two excruciating months, I finally decided to request a refund, given the unacceptable delay in delivering my product even returning my money. What ensued was a frustrating series of attempts to communicate with Evan,, only to be met with evasion and false statements. My messages were consistently filled with vague assurances and empty apologies.To add insult to injury, Evan not only failed to refund me promptly but also resorted to blatant lies about the status of my product. I was repeatedly told that my purchase was on its way, despite evidence to the contrary. This level of dishonesty and deceit is utterly unacceptable and has shattered any trust I may have had in this business.The lack of transparency and accountability displayed by Evan throughout this entire ordeal is inexcusable. It's disheartening to see a company prioritize deceit and evasion over honest communication and fulfilling their customers' expectations.

Man, I can't decide if I want to give this more than a 1 star. This place is nice to play at. But horrible for pre-ordering products. Either the owner has no transparency and doesn't accommodate their players. all i ask is to notify your customers about delays or pick up the phone and properly take the Ls and explain the situation. I swear he is really trying to lose business or something. I've gone to plenty of cards shop in my time, but this was the worst. I only gave 2 star because I felt like it.

I've been going here for a while and Its been a very welcoming environment with a great community. The owner is understanding and polite, and he has a great selection of cards, miniatures, and games for good prices. I've always come in and been able to play whatever I want or buy whatever I want with little to no issue. Whenever I am there he's always polite to whom ever walks in and will answer all their questions to the best of his ability. For example last Saturday a boy and his dad came in asking about Warhammer 40K and he answered them and showed them a set that might work for what he wanted, but before they spent any money he recommended that he do research and come in the next day to watch some more experienced players. Overall it's a great experience and cannot recommend it enough.

I recently had an interesting experience at the local game store that left me with mixed feelings. While the owner of the store was friendly and seemed genuinely concerned about the community, the overall buying experience was disappointing due to poor communication and unfulfilled promises.A few months ago, I placed a pre-order for a highly anticipated product, and the owner assured me that he would secure it for me. Unfortunately, when the product arrived, he didn't have enough to fulfill all the pre-orders. Initially, I requested a refund, but he insisted that he would ship the product to me once it was restocked.When the restock finally arrived, I promptly followed up with the owner, asking him to hold the product for me since I had pre-ordered and paid in full. To my dismay, he informed me that he couldn't ship the product anymore. He went on to explain that he had sold it to someone else, claiming it was a "first come, first serve" situation. To make matters worse, he informed me that he could only offer me one unit instead of the six I had originally ordered.What bothered me most was that if the owner had communicated better, I wouldn't have wasted three hours of my time traveling to the store. I would have appreciated a heads-up about the change in plans or at least a notification that my pre-order couldn't be fulfilled as initially promised.Despite this disappointing experience, I want to emphasize that the owner genuinely seems to care about his community. The store has a welcoming atmosphere, and he goes out of his way to engage with customers and foster a sense of community. I sincerely hope that the store thrives and improves its communication practices.In summary, while the owner of the game store is friendly and shows dedication to the community, the buying experience was marred by inadequate communication and unfulfilled promises. It is my sincere wish that the owner takes this feedback constructively and strives to communicate better with customers in the future.

The hours are incorrect... Ive tried to stop by on 3 different days between 2-3pm and it's closed... Even though the sign says it opens at 1pm. Please update your hours.

I called to see if they had the new Magic: The Gathering Fat Pack Bundles (Streets of New Capenna) to sell early with prerelease because some sets can be sold early. The man who answered the phone was very rude and you can tell his weakness is customer service and it was overall a horrible first impression. I will be bringing my money elsewhere to a place that is more friendly to their customer.

Hey my name is Aiden. I am one of the new people that regularly go to Toys n things to play Magic the gathering, the prices are very reasonable and the people there are pretty happy and nice. I have friends from school that go there that’s why I have fun for the most part. I’m hoping to get a Magic deck there soon for $20. It’s a reasonable price. Overall the place is very good, very good business, it’s gonna get very far. I still go there and I’ve had no problems and I don’t think I will have any. Lovely place. I just wanted to leave a review. Okie, bye!
