“Took my Corvette to Herb Chambers 3 times for the engine misfiring..After the 3rd visit they told me it was the transmission and to take it to a transmission mechanic in Wakefield. Within 1 hr the transmission place told me it was fine. Took it to essex County auto repair. They did a tune up in one day. Car runs like new and they did it at a excellent price. The dealership should be embarrassed,they couldn't fix the car. They had it for 3 weeks.. can't say enough about essex, thank u for fixing my car.”

“My car 10 year old started to suddenly make a loud noise like rocks rolling around under the car somewhere. I checked the tools that came with the car and the spare tire thinking that something had come loose. After three days I decided to look for a mechanic on Yelp. This shop had the best ratings, and, deservedly so. I dropped the car off in the afternoon, received a comprehensive computerized analysis of current and potential problems. The shocks and struts in the rear of the car were replaced by early the following afternoon. Totally professional and super friendly!”
“I was told by 2 other local mechanics that I needed over $1k of work on my Mini Cooper. Mini wanted $275 just to diagnose the problem. A friend told me to go see Jason at Paradise Auto Service. At first Jason gave me the name of someone in Marblehead who works on BMW's & Minis and while I was still in his lot calling them, he came over to my car and asked me to pull it in because he thought he knew what it might be. It was exactly what he thought it was. He ordered the part & put it in the following day. I’ve sent several people to them since. All were equally happy. This was a year ago & I don’t remember the exact amount I paid but I know the part, including labor was less than $100. ?”

“Our 2020 Chrysler Pacifica needed a transmission valve body replacement. The dealership where we purchased the vehicle sent to the car to FNA. Due to the extended warranty causing delays (no fault of FNA) they had our car for a few weeks. During that time FNA was extremely apologetic and kept us informed every step of the way. Even though the delay was not FNA's fault they covered the warranty deductible AND delivered the car to us.
I highly, very highly recommend this shop. These days customer service this excellent is hard to find. 5 stars is not adequate to rate these guys. The best repair shop we've ever dealt with by far.”

“After my car ran rough a couple of times, a local garage told me my car had a problem with its transmission. They wanted to work on it, but I took the car to Creedon's instead. After his examination and testing of the car, I got a call from the owner who told me there was nothing wrong with my car. There was no charge for their inspection or his time. After several days of smooth driving, I realize now that the rough ride I experienced prior to bringing in for service is gone. “I took my car to this shop because my ABS and traction control lights were on - they took a look at it and noticed that my front left strut had broken as well. They physically showed me everything that needed repairs, we set up an appointment, and they fixed everything in one day. They even replaced a bulb that was out and didn't charge for labor. I talked to Will and Miguel and they were both awesome.”

I’m usually very mistrusting of mechanics. I am from out of town and my car was making horrible noises. I was in a bit of a bind as I had to go back to NYC asap and needed the car looked at right away. I could have been an easy target to take advantage of. I was bracing myself to shell out $$$. They looked at the car and quickly found that the noise was due to tires being loose. They tightened the tires and sent me on my way. Super honest and fair.
