This is the first time I’ve ever been inclined to write a google review. A lot of people have written negative things about Luis. But today, he made me cry. I left the post office puzzled by how a grown postal worker can treat a 32-yo woman in such a way, then the frustration and anger translated to tears and cried in my car contemplating how people can treat other people with such disrespect and unkindness.
I went to the post office because I’m not a mailing expert, and by going to the post office I was seeking help. He got frustrated at me and kept saying how unprepared I was. This confused me because I don’t know how I could’ve prepared at home, I should have took out my personal stash of usps priority mailing envelopes and written the address on usps labels ahead of time I guess.
Still shook by this man. I hope he finds peace somehow.

On 11/26 at approximately 10:45 I went into the Danvers post office. I was the only person in there at the time. The gentleman that was working for the post office Lewis was doing something and he said he’d be right with me. He finally came over to wait on me. I told him I needed to send a letter certified. He took the letter and began to do whatever he needed to do and then he looked up and there was a man behind me. He asked the man did he want him to get his mail for him. He dropped what he was doing for me And went and got the mail. I said to him you were waiting on me. He said well he’s important and he was waiting for his mail. . The gentleman then said I think there’s a package. So he again he left my piece of mail and left me waiting and went and looked for a package. Came back with the package. For the man. The guy thanked him and I said to him you were waiting on me why did you stop waiting on me and wait on him. He made some cockamamie excuse. He was so rude. It wasn’t even funny. I will never ever ever go back to this post office again. I cannot believe that they have kept this gentleman as long as they have. He has been rude to people before. There’s an other gentleman who couldn’t be nicer and he helps you out in all different ways. I’m appalled. I’m trying to find who the postmaster is to complain also. This gentleman should be warned and suspended or not have a customer service job.

Do not go to Luis. He has lost 2 of my packages meant to be shipped out to date. Horrible service and does not care about his job. Filing a claim for the 2nd lost package now.

Joe was super helpful with all the questions I had. It'd be 5 stars but there was a bit of a line which is completely out of Joe's control. Then again it was around lunchtime so it could've just been bad timing

Honestly the guy at the counter was so unnecessarily rude. I was just trying to mail a box and I didn't know I had to fill out the address on the box as other places print out a label with the address on it. It was a small error that was turned into an argument that did not need to happen. I kept apologizing but he continued to tell me I was wrong. Such a weird anxiety ridden experience.

They don't answer the phone, ever. I've been trying to call, over and over again. The person delivering mail today on North St in Danvers, Ma, delivered not one but two different peoples mail to my house. Which I had to go deliver myself. I'm not a mailman, I don't get paid to deliver someone else's mail. So what I'm saying is, you might want to reevaluate your employees. Anytime I see this guy deliver mail, he's on his phone. Maybe pay attention so I don't have to do your job. Thanks ?06/12/2023

I was treated so poorly by Luis. Went to mail three envelopes at 5:10pm and he told me he couldn't do it and I should have come earlier because he had a lot of work to do. They close at 5:30. I go and mail tax returns out there all the time and I will never go back to his window again. He kept going on and on about how busy he was and he did not have time to take care of my mailing out three things that I should have done earlier in the day. Many other people had the same idea because behind me there were an additional three to four people. I wonder if he raised his voice and was so rude to them too for making him do his job? I hope there is a camera and some supervisor can see and hear what he was saying to me and how rude he was.

This is my favorite USPS location ever--which I'm sure everyone can agree that finding a good USPS location is like finding a needle in a haystack. I come here almost weekly to drop off packages/letters/etc. I use it for shipping out my Poshmark boxes and never wait more than 5 minutes in line. I used this location for my wedding hand-stamped envelopes and actually got to stamp them myself, which I appreciated since I knew they were done right. Overall: 5-STARS + Great hours (open until 5:30pm): so I can go after work on my way home + Always great customer service (no matter who is behind the counter) + Reliable/consistently good at getting mail out on time

I love that I don't have to dish out $20 to Uberer myself to the Post Office to change my address! Having the ability to do business transactions online is a convenience that saves me money and that is a great thing!
