You shall not find a more caring vet hospital than Chase Farm. Recently, I had to say goodbye for now to my 18-1/2 year old Jack Russell Terrier, Emma. It was the worst day of my life. Dr. Thompson was so kind, and reassured me that it was time, and the right thing to do for Emma. Dr. Thompson provided the best care possible for Emma. I will never forget Dr. Thompson's kindness. All the staff at Chase Farm are phenomenal. Thank you to all who cared for my Emma. Thank you for making my worst day a little easier.

Could not find my dogs testicle when performing a neuter. They choose to then cut him open in 5 different areas to poke around to find it. Sent me home with no antibiotics. Of course it got infected, whole abdomen filled with infection. I went back urgently the next day as my dog was dying and asked for urgent care immediately. They gave me the wrong medication. Instead of antibiotics and steroids, they gave me sleeping medication. Check the bottles on Google. I had to go to the emergency room in Swansea,MA Bay State Emergency to check my dog and guide the rest of the procedure. Chase farm almost killed my dog, it's a miracle he is still alive. I used manuka honey in the infection to drain it from his abdomen along with the antibiotic.

We followed Dr. Lord here from his previous practice and he did not disappoint! He’s thorough, knowledgeable, and honest. If he doesn’t think you need a test, he’s not going to recommend it and wrack up your bill. He really listens to you, taking your concerns and description of your pets behavior into consideration with his evaluation. Moreover, he explains what to look out for in the future. You leave the office feeling confident that your pet is as healthy and well cared for as can be. While many vets can seem dismissive of your questions, doctor Lord ensures you understand. He explains your pet’s anatomy, the disease, the medicine. Moreover, he catches things that other vets miss. My parent’s cat had been to multiple ER vets without proper diagnosis. Doctor Lord found the issue in under ten minutes. Give that man a raise!!I also found Chase Farms practice to be well run. The waiting room has never been overwhelmed. The staff are organized and efficient.

They have treated Duffy and us to the highest!! Well beyond call of duty!! Dr. Thompson is the greatest!! I hope I spelled her name right because she deserves praise ????

This is by far the best veterinary hospital I have been to. All staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, kind, companionate... Service is excellent and all doctors are the best of the best! I'm very thankful to have found them and I highly recommend.

Recently my dog got sick and had to go to the vet. I took him to an emergency facility where his condition was mis-diagnosed as pancreatitis. I took him to Chase Farm to get a second opinion and he was seen by Dr Wadsworth, who said that his symptoms were neurological. She referred me to a specialist who concurred with Dr. Wadsworth that this was NOT pancreatitis. She diagnosed his problem as a large brain tumor. I had to put the dog down but Dr. Wadsworth's correct diagnosis and referral saved my dog from a lot of suffering, for which I am eternally grateful.

The doctors and staff are great. However, they take forever to refill medication. I've contacted the office multiple times, and Chewy keeps telling me the doctor still hasn't approved the script. My cat NEEDS her insulin, it is essential to her quality of life. I tried calling the office again today and they are closed? It is a Saturday, they should be open till 2 pm! Not happy at all.

Very caring people. Much better than old vet that didn't care and were rough with cat. Chase is gentle and caring.

My cat was a patient here for several years. Had surgery for a bite received during a fight in 2018. Was never tested for diseases transmitted through a bite. Needless to say my cat just had to be euthanized at 5 years old. I believe partly due to incompetence.

My dog has been a patient here since he was 8 weeks old, we used to have a doctor we loved here but after he left it seemed my dogs treatment went downhill. My dog is currently fighting off 2 infections after bringing him here 4 times in 3 weeks. The first time I brought him I knew he had an infection but it took me bringing him 3 times to get antibiotics and they charged me more each time. When he finally got antibiotics their excuse was “it wasn’t infected the first two times but is now” ....then why was I bringing him in in the first place? After the third time bringing him in we were finally given antibiotics then about 6 days later he got even more sick so we brought him back. They told us to stop the antibiotic and prescribed new medication to treat the symptoms but not the actual infection. Now he has two infections and is in serious discomfort and we’ve paid over $600 in the past 3 weeks. They did give us a “break” and credited us $15 for pills I paid $44 for. Through this process they told us they would call to check in, the only time they called was after a different vets office asked for records from them and they wanted to confirm with me that I would still be coming to my appointment with chase. When we brought him to another vets they were shocked that this had gone on for so long and gave us the appropriate treatment plan instead of saying “come back if it gets worse” like chase did the first 3 times. I am incredibly disappointed in the care my dog has received and how we have been gaslighted by their staff for them to make a profit. If they treated him when I originally brought him in 3 weeks ago he would not be going through all of this.

Called with an emergency (am staying in town and can’t get to my normal vet). Told them my dog cannot walk at all and it was an emergency. Their response was “you’ll have to look elsewhere as we don’t take new clients, even for an emergency”.
