Awful breakfast sandwich!! Overpriced and tasteless breakfast burrito. $13. Cold on top of gross. I emailed to complain and they took full responsibility and refunded payment. We all have bad days I guess. I appreciate that they handled it properly.

Came here for trivia night and had a blast! Food and drinks were excellent and all the staff were friendly and seemed happy to be there. The selection of books and other items on the store side were great as well. Will be coming back soon!

Highly recommend this general store and cannot wait to return as a patron. Had the honor to shoot an important short film; "Sweet Freedom" as part of the crew in this location and ended up spending over $100 on Books, Hot Sauce and local artisan chocolate. What is a pretty small general store, historic I believe was told that it's one of the oldest in the State and maybe the country, the owners manage to line with interesting, unique, locally sourced products from trinkets that make great gifts, craft foods and pantry items and hundreds of the best curation of books used and new.We were not there on pleasure so we could not partake in the connected cafe and speak easy style bar that looked wonderful. Definitely check this out!

What a great find - bookstore, grocery, and tavern. Why didn't I think of this? Great food, nicely curated selection of books and groceries and super atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back!

The price-to-product ratio is insane, atleast for the mini restaurant. We spent $34 for two small sandwiches. An automatic 18% tip is added to each order. For that price, I would have expected the sandwiches to be a tad bigger and stand a bit taller. We’ve been to countless restaurants up and down the east coast, and we wanted to like this one. But the value isn’t there, and your money can be better spent elsewhere. I will say that the sandwiches were delicious - that’s true for sure.

Highly priced quaint speciality Store. I 0verly paid for an ice green tea and it was lousy. I went to add sugar and the cover was a struggle the tea spilled everywhere the girl came to help and said I'll put more ice in it .. NO I want to replace the tea I don't want to pay $7.00 for ice They never offered me Napkins or wiped up the spill!I will not be stopping their when I pass through town

A wonderful general store! Under the current management, Davoll’s feels like an integral community hub for both locals and and tourists to drop by and find a thoughtful gift, a delicious meal or beverage, or even ingredients for dinner. They highlight local producers in their merchandise and food which is great to see. Their breakfast offerings and coffee are both delicious, and I’ll be back for lunch or a beer soon! Great to see this historic store back full of life.

I like coming into the cafe when Im alone. Delicious sandwiches and lattes. Its cute to have little vases and flowers on each table. The tuna melt is so big, definitely share it with someone. I sat inside and outside in the garden area. Both are pleasant. If u ever hike at Destruction Brook go here for a little bite.

Davoll’s General Store is the best! Love going there for breakfast or lunch and love the grocery store and enjoy browsing the bookstore/gift shop. The food is delicious and I always find something to buy in the market and bookstore!
