“Truly amazing store, absolutely stunning items everywhere! Owner is by FAR the nicest person I have met in a long time. Hidden treasure of a store, DEFINITELY worth checking out!!!!
?❤️”
“My favorite store maybe ever. Make and Mend is a magical place full of every craft supply you ever need. From material to support my classroom activities to my sewing and embroidery hobbies. And whatever hobby is next for me to discover. The staff are so welcoming!”
“I went to exchange a faulty screen printing kit, they were courteous and understanding. I appreciated the customer support. Will come back again for more supplies!”
“It was my first time in Boston and I was thrilled to visit! The owner was fabulous, the yarn was spectacular and the visit was more than I could have hoped for. I walked out with gorgeous yarn - the fibre, colours and variety were on point!!! Thank you for the opportunity to spend (not enough) time in your gorgeous yarn store!!”
“Marylou and her team are awesome!! Very professional, quick responses, and very quick on orders. Will never use anyone else for our t-shirts, sweatshirts, and signs.”
“Excellent range of glazes I haven’t seen for sale elsewhere in the Boston area. Super knowledgeable staff that helped me make some great choices on what to buy. I’ll be heading back for more soon.”
“This store has an insanely awesome paper collection and all around super great selection of art supplies. The people that work there are SO kind and understanding!!! It’s inside of the SMFA (an art school) so it’s tailored to working artists!! And the employees themselves are practicing artists too so they give great advice on projects etc. 10/10 would recommend”
“The store is very big and has a little of everything, as you can see from my pictures.
A lot of things were out of stock (like the whole section of textile), but I guess it is understandable in the very beginning of the academic year.
In general - a very useful place in this location of Boston, as everything else with crafts and art supplies is not close by... except the Tufts art store near MFA, but it is tiny and doesn't have much.”
“I stopped by the store hoping to find everything I needed to create a DIY guest scrapbook, but I couldn’t quite find what I was looking for (I’m extremely detail-oriented!). Fortunately, the wonderful Helen came to the rescue. She was attentive, helpful, polite, and genuinely kind throughout the entire experience.
The store is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth a visit! Thank you, Helen, for all your help. Liam’s grandpa truly appreciates it!”
“Ginger beef donburi is so addicting
It is more on a fusion side but I haven't been able to stop thinking about it for the past 2 years. I just wish they opened earlier so I can get it for lunch too”
“This store was fantastic! Besides being neat and organized, I enjoyed browsing this store and seeing all of the stationery items! I bought a pack of Writech gel pens for journaling, and I loved the station where you could test out the pens!”
