“This shop did not have any reviews so I wasn’t that optimistic. But we went in, Bella helped me try dresses on and helped us look over the catalogs to find the dresses we like and assured us that she will call the company to order them to the shop so we can come back and try them on. It was a very pleasant experience. She was also very flexible with the appointment when we arrived early:)”

“I live in Canada and bought my dress at L’elite in Boston while visiting my aunt. My only concern was how many trips I’d need for fittings—but the team handled everything perfectly.
We started Thursday and finished Saturday afternoon. They completed my Monique ball gown, my sister’s beaded dress, and my mother’s dress beautifully. The in-house designer suggested changes to my mother’s gown that made it more sophisticated and flattering.
I truly appreciate the entire L’elite team—from the showroom to tailoring. Their 40+ years of experience deserve 5 stars!”

The classic and elegant style she portrays is unsurpassable! The dress for the wedding was above and beyond my expectations (presented many different pictures of dresses that had something I wanted in my own dress, that Anna brought to fruition)! “If you like the design, go for it. I bought a few basic pieces to wear occasionally and casually. They were just a few hundred bucks so I didn't have high expectations for the metal or germs. However, despite my infrequent use, the earrings have been tarnished severely and I couldn't figure out a way to fix it. That never happened to my other more expensive pieces. I am a bit disappointed and decided to sell it on other platforms like Ebay.”

They were so welcoming and friendly, made me feel so comfortable, and were great in guiding me to the dress of my dreams! The dressing rooms and dress viewing area were spacious and very cute and comfortable. They also have great prices when comparing the same dress at multiple other bridal shops. I loved the "off the rack" options as well. Highly recommend.”

“Make bhldn your first stop on your search for your wedding dress! I had two back-to-back appointments, the first at another nearby store, and the second at bhldn. I left my first appointment so discouraged and stressed due to the selection and my dismissive stylist. At bhldn, I felt welcomed and supported from the moment I set foot in the store. My stylist (Meg? Maddie?) was ready for me right away, and had dresses ready for me from the online intake form when I made the appointment. She was training another stylist, and gave both of us ample attention, with patience and passion. She listened to my feedback about what I liked or would change about each dress, and eventually pulled one that I hadn't considered - of course, I put it on and cried, and that dress ended up being The Dress! Notably, I never felt pressured, and my body was spoken about neutrally and with respect, when relevant. I felt safe and comfortable, my dress arrived within a few weeks, and highly recommend bhldn Chestnut Hill for your wedding dress!”

“This is a very late review for services I received in August, but Bella is a lifesaver. I had a strict budget and bought my dream wedding dress made of ivory Mikado silk on a used website and the bust area ended up being way too small. I contacted three other seamstresses - one said it was going to be a difficult, time consuming job when she was already busy and offered a less than ideal solution that would totally alter the look of the dress, one charged an absurd amount of money, and the last said the materials would be impossible to find and didn’t even want to attempt it. I was pretty much about to give up when I found Bella, who was very busy with other customers but took the time to look at the dress and said very confidently that she could fix it by adding a corset. I asked if the materials would be hard to find and she said she already had them, and charged me a very reasonable price. We did have a few issues with timing, but I still received my dress before my wedding, she made the most beautiful corset with perfectly matched material, and it actually added an extra princess feel to the dress. I was thrilled. Thank you Bella!”
