I've been consistently disappointed as a PNC customer. I went to get some documents notarized and found there is a company policy that they only notarize certain (unspecified) types of documents. This was after I had made an appointment in advance and was never warned of such a policy.I also really dislike the strategy they are taking in MA with these appointment-only branches; I had a much better experience at the traditional NC locations. The virtual teller experience is very strange, and even with this I have found odd unexpected limitations; for example, I was not allowed to cash a check.

18 year PNC customer from Philly PNC UPENN branch. Glad that PNC expands to MA, but experience was not good. It’s APPOINTMENT-ONLY that’s what receptionist said. I could do my bank work in ATM but couldn’t ask anything about new products as so.

When trying to close my accounts they hung up on me 3 times. They closed it the 4th time, but they also took that as permission to send me unsolicited spam.

My experience with this bank was very unpleasant. I went out of my way three towns over, 11 miles to be exact to open a business account at this branch because I heard great things. They would give me the run around for two months and I traveled back and forth to this branch multiple times. When I would call the manager he was never available. When I left two messages for the manger to call me back, and he never did. There is a lack of communication at this branch and no one knew what was going on. I was frustrated at this is how they conduct business and this is how they treated new customers. They literally wasted my valuable time. They made it difficult to open an account. I went to there competitor the next day and they open my account the same day with ease. I would not do business with them. I gave it two stars because there were some nice employees.

Ive banked with PNC in a different state since 2011. I moved to this area recently and Raja has been an Excellent help with all my banking needs. Helped me get set up with a new virtual wallet account and now I’m excited to know I can keep banking with PNC and not have to switch banks!! Thank you!! 5 stars!!!
