Positive inspection experience. Stopped at a few other places that weren’t interested in helping. Stopped here and was met with friendliness. He immediately got me in, inspected, and back on the road.

Avoid future issues and don’t bring your vehicle here. They overcharge for terrible service and on top of that they are dishonest. Lied to my face when I had evidence them doing so and still denied it ?.

This place is an absolute nightmare!!! This is definitely a ***** pinching business. I would not advise to bring your car here for any kind of service not even one as simple as your Mass inspection. The customer ********************** is poor, **** poor. The service for this place has gone down tremendously since this new owner took over.

Best to avoid this place and go anywhere else. They charged me a high price for an oil change and tire rotation. I drove home and opened the hood of my vehicle to find that they left the oil fill cap off my engine. Fortunately I did not lose the cap on the short drive home. They also left greasy handprints on the vehicle. Totally unprofessional and untrustworthy. Worst place I have been to in years.

Best mechanic around. I've been coming here for years and trust them completely for all my repairs, big or small. They do quality work at a fair rate. They always give me a choice on parts of OEM or aftermarket. In some cases I purchase my own parts for them to install. They are always honest and professional and do the repair when and as promised. Services: Gas, State Inspections, steering & suspension repair, air conditioning, oil change, general repairs & maintenance, brakes, electrical repair, engine repair, exhaust, etc.

The man that runs this shop is RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and NASTY. I came by this morning for an inspection sticker and I was ignored while I patiently waited to be acknowledged. He attended to other things still ignoring me. I get it, you're busy so I waited. He apparently was not interested in saying "how can I help you" or "I'll be with you in moment" but instead kept doing what he was doing, even spoke to another customer that drove up. SO I politely asked if he was available for the inspection. He responded in a nasty tone about me moving my car out of his way and he'd get to me in 30 minutes. I understand that you're busy. I understand that the shop doesn't have a lot of room to enter & exit the work station. BUT I don't understand why you would speak to a customer in that manner. I'm not one of your boys! I'm a paying customer looking to give you my money for a service. I can go ANYWHERE. PLEASE DON'T GO HERE. There's numerous great auto shops in the Readville/Milton/Hyde Park area -This is NOT ONE OF THEM! DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY! They obviously don't need it! And they have a TON of bad reviews so you know it's not an isolated incident.

WARNING: This shop placed a used/faulty part in my vehicle and charged me full price for a brand new one. I had only found this out when my vehicle had entered the original dealership service center for a recall on separate issues one week later. The mechanics at dealership notified me that the previous part “fixed” by Sprague Street Auto Service was used and needed to be replaced ASAP. When I brought this to the attention of Sprague Street Auto Service, they were extremely combative, unwilling to discuss the matter further for resolution, and did not provide a receipt for part purchase! Sketchy and dishonest work. Highly suggest you avoid.Service: Auto maintenance
