The staff are always very friendly and helpful. They are honest about what needs to be done and what can wait until necessary. They make sure my car is safe and do the necessary maintenance at reasonable prices.

Fantastic crew! Believe it or not, I totally shredded both front tires by hitting a curb on Bridge St. Barely able to steer my smoking rims into the station, Rami came outside to meet me and was incredibly kind and reassuring. Everyone was! They found me two new compatible tires, kept me warm and comfy inside the mini mart and had me back on the road at a reasonable cost in no time. I cannot recommend these lovely people enough!!!

Really poor service. Went to get an inspection sticker this morning (Saturday October 28 at 10:00AM). When I asked the man behind the counter if I could get an inspection sticker, he never stopped playing the game on his cell phone to look up at me just said, no. I asked him if there was anyone in the area he could recommend and he said, how should I know. Very rude. I have spent thousands with Ames St Auto over the years but they’ll never see another dollar of mine ever again and that includes getting gas there at least once a week for all three of our cars.I took my car to Irving on route 1 in Norwood for my inspection sticker. The gentleman was kind, courteous and professional and had me out of there in 30 minutes.I will ho here from now on and I recommend you all do as well. . If we continue to bring our business to rude and unprofessional businesses like Ames Street Auto they’ll continue to treat us all like we’re an interruption to their day/ cell phone game as opposed to the lifeblood of their business.I own two businesses and would fire any employee that treats any customer like Ames Street Auto does.I’d give them Zero stars but it isn’t an available option.

This shop is great and run by some real honest people. I brought my car in today for an oil change due to the date of the last change, but I had driven nowhere near the miles for a new oil. They took a look, saw the oil was good, and let me know. Free of charge! I’ll be back here for when I actually need an oil change :)
