Wilson Mountain Reservation is a 207-acre area of wild and varied terrain near Boston, offering great hikes. It features two marked trails, a red 0.7-mile trail and a blue 1.8-mile trail, which can be combined into a nice 2-3 mile loop with some flat and some inclined sections. It is a great place for a relatively easy walk or short hike, with hilltop views. The reservation is very dog-friendly, with streams and a pond perfect for dogs. It is usually well-maintained across seasons, though bug spray is recommended in summer. Free parking is available on-site.
