I had a remote starter put in my Volkswagen last Christmas. Volkswagen are notorious for being somewhat difficult for 3rd party parts and we did have a few hiccups initially. However Bills customer service was fabulous and all the fixes came free of charge. Ultimately I haven’t had any issues since and decided to write this review after warming up my car on this frigid morning! Would highly recommend!

I purchased a remote starter for my car from Mobile Electronics. They programed my car's remote entry fob to be able to start the car by pressing LOCK three times, and I have been trying for two weeks to make it work. I brought the car back once already and was told that I would have to stand in front of the car and watch the parking lights to make sure I timed pressing the LOCK button absolutely accurately to make it work. I have had two other remote starters installed previously, and I have never had to go through this routine. I could have been inside a building, 50 or 100 feet away, press the fob a couple of times, and the car started right up each time. I just called Mobile again to ask if they can please fix it so that it works reliably, and they tried to SELL me an upgrade. I spent a small fortune for this product and it doesn't work the way it's supposed to. And the moment I complained, I was met with rudeness and a dismissive attitude, with the sales person arguing and saying the starter worked "the way it was supposed to". I was also told that the sales person went "all through this" with me at the time of installation, which was not true. The only option I was given was a more expensive starter that worked up to 1000 feet away. Nothing was said about performance or ease of operation. And now they want to charge me another $70 minimum, on top of the $430 I already paid, for a reliable starter. I ended up hanging up because I didn't enjoy being yelled at by the person on the other end of the phone. I would not go there again, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Bill and his staff are great!! I've been using him for 12 years now. Upgraded radio decks, speakers and remote starters for our family. They have it all. Showroom has demos so you can view and hear what you are looking for. They have an extensive selection. Even though we're a trough and through Alpine family!! He is the person I also called when I worked at a local car dealer. They can handle everything. From new off the line vehicle upgrades to older vehicles. He just installed our 17's new Alpine deck in her 2000 Corolla. She loves it. Sound quality and installation are too notch. Thanks as always Bill!!

These guys we great. Bill was super helpful and knowledgable. They put a new head unit in our SUV to replace the defective factory one and it was excellent, far better than original unit and far less expensive. The quality of their work is excellent, responsiveness is great, knowledge is excellent. Due to the quality of the service and the unit they put in we are now going to have another vehicle done.
