My mom stayed at the Scargo B & B back in September of 2024 and had a fantastic experience! I've been meaning to follow up and write a review since Roy and Ann were such wonderful hosts, and the stay at Scargo was so lovely for my mom. My husband, 15 month old, (at the time) and I had planned a vacation to Cape Cod that my mom decided to also attend with us a couple days after we made arrangements. Since the Airbnb we were staying at did not have enough room I helped my mom find her own place to stay. After going through many different locations we finally found a place that hit on all the points she wanted, Scargo. It was close to us in Dennis, affordable, and attractive. From the first phone call to book the room to the goodbyes at the end, Roy and Ann were wonderful hosts. They were friendly, attentive and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. Their recommendations of where to go, when, and what and where to eat were really helpful. They are just lovely people n general. The B & B itself is beautiful and feels very inviting and historical without being stuffy or feeling fragile. There are a couple of well appointed sitting areas on the first floor plus a dining area that was always stocked with coffee, tea and snacks. My mom's room, the Azalea, was on the one of the upper floors and was perfect for her. She had a lovely window view and there was also a sitting area on that level for guests to enjoy. The grounds of Scargo are lovely as well. The B & B is situated on, and provides access to, the namesake lake, Scargo. There are several paddle boats that can be used on the lake and a large bonfire area nearby for use as well. Ann and Roy were always extremely kind to us when we picked up my mom or would go up to her room to see her during our stay. I really loved where we stayed but next time I'd choose to stay at Scargo as well. Breakfast is provided by Ann in the mornings and according to my mom was delicious everytime. If you are looking for a place to stay on the Cape in or around Dennis, I'd say look no further. Price wise there are cheaper places, sure, but if you can afford to spend a bit more, I'd say there is no better place and hosts on the Cape! Dennis is also a nice location from which to explore around the Cape and go into Boston or the surrounding areas. Thank you for everything Ann and Roy! Hope to see you all again in the future.

Scargo Manor is a charming, convenient and delightful place to stay. There is access to Scargo Lake right in the back yard and Dennis Village is within walking distance. Roy was friendly and helpful. Bear, his beautiful Golden Retriever, greeted us at breakfast. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Dennis!

We absolutely adored Scargo Manor! Roy and Ann are amazing hosts, they made us feel right at home! The bonus is Bear the golden retriever and Humphrey the rabbit - two very sweet surprises in a house that boasts history and charm!! SM B&B is a must stay next time you find yourself in Cape Cod!!

I stayed one night at the end of August and it was a delightful stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious! I enjoyed kayaking on the lake (they also have other craft to use including safety vests). The house and grounds are beautiful. I also enjoyed meeting their adorable dog and giant rabbit.

Ann and Roy are a darling couple who will charm your pants off during your stay. Enjoy meeting their adorable rabbit and golden, stroll by the lake, savor Ann’s delicious breakfasts! Absolutely must stay here.

We have stayed at the Scargo Manor quite a few times. Each time, we enjoyed ourselves. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, breakfast is always delicious, and the hosts are extremely gracious. We'll be visiting again soon!

My wife and I recently stayed at the Scargo Manor and absolutely loved our stay. Ann and Roy were fantastic hosts! The room was perfect and the breakfasts were great. This was our first time staying here and we will absolutely be back. I highly recommend this B&B if you are in Dennis.

We LOVED our stay at Scargo Manor. If you are looking for a genuinely charming B&B stay, this is it. There are many options for comfortable lounging and gathering spaces inside & outside, with a large yard and space for games & a fire.Ann is a kind and gracious host. She accommodated an early check in and quickly responded to any other questions we had. We stayed in the Princess suite and took advantage of the private balcony. Breakfast each day was delicious! We enjoyed walking to the nearby shops and restaurants in Dennis on 6A.Our only regret was not leaving enough time in our planning to enjoy the Scargo Lake with the boats & towels provided by Ann at the Manor. We will definitely be back!

If you are planning on staying in Dennis this is the place for you. Beautiful location and house near Scargo Lake. Anne and Roy are the absolute best and will make you feel like part of the family. Amazing breakfasts that simply cannot be beat. This was my family's favorite place to stay on Cape Cod.
