Annual pilgrimage to the seconds sale was my most recent visit, where the potters sell their own less-than-perfect creations. It is an event that is not to be missed. We get there 30-60 minutes before the tape barricade is cut down at exactly 9 AM. We gaze from afar, planning which table we will rush to in order to snag the perfect item(s) for our collections. The offerings range from mugs to bird baths, castles to wall plaques, bowls and plates of all sizes and represent glazes of many colors. And all made with skill and attention to detail. The defects are minimal, never interfere with functionality. The gallery is also wonderful, with pottery displayed indoors and out. Often you can watch a potter working and, in my experience, they are always willing to chat about the process of making both beautiful and functional items. If you are in Dennis it is worth a stop!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They didn't have the bowl that I wanted but offered to make one for me.

Absolutely charming place. Loved watching the potter at work and browsing the many beautiful handcrafted items-mugs,plates and, especially, the fish shaped bird feeders plus castles and much more. Also loved the gorgeous, serene surroundings. They accept commissions for custom work. Just talk to one of the potters about it.

Stunning studio from local family of artists. Really tasteful pieces in a great range of palettes and styles.

I gave 5 starts because it is family run and very unique as well as a time honored cape arts business. Their grounds are worth visiting. Their outdoor bird towers are crafted to look like mini castles with multiple domes. Coffee mugs average $38 a mug. Berry bowls around 55.

Been going here since the early '70s. Family business that carries on the craft of the potter. Studio and gallery set in the trees overlooking Scargo Lake. A peaceful and comfortable place where you can watch craftspeople creating some of the many objects both useful and decorative that are on display in their gallery and yard. Definitely a "must see" if you are a fan of the potter's art.

I gave it 5 stars but I really don't know anything about pottery. I do know that there were some beautiful pieces for sale and the setting is very tranquil. If I was an artisan I'd like to work there.

Scargo Pottery is a magical escape to enchanting outdoor displays of beautiful works of art and a connection between clay sculptures and nature. It is where chipmunks play among castles and birds bathe in luxury .Whether it is cloudy or sunny, I know I can come here and be inspired.
