The course conditions were very ordinary and do not justify the high prices they are charging. Not a good value for money.

Truly a hidden gem. Very well maintained course and facilities. Stewart will great you at your vehicle and leave you a cart to start your outing. Driving range was excellent. Balls are ready for your arrival whether pre round practice or just hitting balls for practice. Insane you just pay by the hour unlimited balls await. The e golf carts are quiet and pollution free. They include an screen to track your round for distance and scoring. Ok I could go on an on....just go and enjoy. Cheers

To be clear, the review is for Gabby, the beverage cart attendant. She was awesome and the prices are reasonable!
Golf course has a great design and is challenging, but needs a lot of work. Anyone that has played it already knows. Great scenery and beautiful neighborhood. I hope the course improves to match the service and surroundings.

The course layout is awesome, if youve played a brian silva design, this is up there with renaissance. paid $117 for a friday tee time and well worth the price since it includes a cart and range balls. Conditions were really nice with the exception of a few tee boxes. well worth checking out

Though I wasn’t paying for today’s round, I was a little concerned with some recent review regarding pace of play and conditions.
For a Public course, conditions were very good and pace of play as well, we were a little slow with 2 new players, finished ~4:15.
Only negative regarding conditions, a couple of the bunkers need new sand, and some wear and tear of sections of the cart path.
Most all Tee boxes were in good shape, as were all fairways and greens.
The challenge with most courses, even Private clubs I have played this year, is golfers not picking up broken tees, replacing or at least filling in divots and repairing ball marks on greens.

Course is in “OK” condition. Place of play is very slow. Even on a Tuesday.

Okay, so I have played red tail at least once a year since i was 15 years old. When the new management came and took over the course, conditions went south HARD. Over priced for playing. BUT, Today i played and i can definitely say the red tail I know is back. Greens ran true. Fairways were in great condition. Tee boxes are making a comeback and my round was worth the price. New golf carts and friendly staff all making it worth it. To the course superintendent PLEASE keep what you’re doing up. This is one of the best designed courses in New England.

Place really went downhill…. Played over July 4th weekend the tee boxes looked like Putin set a bomb off, and not to mention the price is outrageous. Greens still roll nicely, however very slow…. I wouldn’t play this again, and I used to be a big fan.
PS - Eman & Hannah are the only things worth keeping at this dump…. Both a wonderful cart girl and bartender.

Fun course, great layout, decent greens. With that said for this price a bunch of the tee boxes were very beat up and not at all what I expect to see when I play a course that costs over $100. Most of the other tee boxes were totally fine. Greens were rolling nice but looked like no one fixed divot marks but not the courses fault. Would love to play the course again.

Course layout is solid. But priced at $191, I expect pristine conditions. The conditions are fair. Tee boxes are chewed up, and fairways are rough in spots. Bar/dining was understaffed after round. Waited 15 minutes before drink order was taken, and then had to get up to get our own menus.
Not a bad track, but can do a lot better for value for $$.

I have played Red Tail for a very long time and haven't played it since the most recent ownership took over and saved it from the atrocity it became.
I was very impressed how much had improved. The greens were full and a little slower than when it was in its premium days. Fairways were in good condition despite the deepest divots I have ever seen. Literally 3 inches deep. Biggest negative thing was the tee boxes needed some serious attention. Several were being redone (good job) and you had to hit off of a mat. Other were lacking grass and had crazy divots again. Lots of divot mix was available but there didn't appear to be any seed.
Beer cart had limited selection and the bar was empty, which was surprising. The bar is very nice and if they trim some trees you'd have a killer view of the 18th.
Happy to see the course making a come back.

Gorgeous course with very challenging greens. Layout is exactly what you would expect from a New England style.

Course is in okay shape for early march. But the pricing at 95 dollars for 18 holes and a cart is unbelievable priced considering they have the 11th hole closed, and a temp green in the middle of the fairway on 7. So realistically you’re paying 95 dollars for 16 and a half holes of golf. Not worth it til they fix these issues.
