“I bought seedlings for my vegetable garden. It was a bit late in the season, so they had sold out of things like leeks, and some plants were a bit leggy... so shop early! Their prices are very reasonable.”

“I love Redwood Nursery for so many reasons. The most recent wonderful experience was stopping in last week - before they are officially open for the spring - because I had broken branches on my arborvitae from the blizzard. A very Knowledgeable young man told me how to repair the damage and provided me with the materials I needed to do the repair. Thank you, again, Redwood Nursery.”

“Manny and Shannon of Hillside Lawn and Farm are great. They are kind and are customer-focused. When a special order that I made for a Bad Boy riding mower started ran into problems, they jumped in and managed all communication going forward and made the experience awesome with their availability for questions, an expedite that they placed on the mower for delivery, and final delivery based on their commitments. They are committed to their customers and it shows.”

“This place is great. The prices are consistently lower than Homedepot and they offer much more selection. You can get just about any PVC trim here and all the correct fasteners. A&R sells many high quality items that are not available at the box stores and they have the knowledge to guide you towards the correct products for your job. I have bought everything from Unilock pavers, wire mesh for concrete, rebar, stain grade interior window casing, cedar clapboard siding without finger joints, stainless nails, Schlage door knobs, granite mailbox post and property markers, charcoal metal siding I used on my ceiling in my garage, grass seed , wood pellets for my pellet stove etc. A&R can get many species of wood and rough sawn wood. I have also bought railroad ties and landscape timbers to hold crane parts off the ground for long periods. I cannot think of another place to buy railroad ties. I am looking forward to coming here many years to come for all my future projects!”

“My sister in law and I went into purchase an built in fireplace/ heater. We had a 10% off coupon. We were sent to see an associate named Joyce. She was very helpful, but the coupon wasn't being taken. She went above and beyond to make sure that we got the 10% off. She is an asset to the company.I love this store. It's so convenient and local.”

“I wanted to thank E.L.J. very much for their help. In the photo is how in front of my house gets on a normal day of heavy rain and with the potential of more this weekend we needed to be proactive and get sandbags to help stop the water from getting deeper into our foundation as it’s just 10 feet from the street to my house. My husband is away working and I have severe scoliosis and it was taking me over an hour to just get 10 bags done (which was fine as I needed to take time and breaks) and the owner came up when he noticed and called upon one of his crew named Lee. He was overly helpful even though i only had 5 bags left, very polite, eager to help in anyway. If I ever need to hire a company like E.L.J for any work they offer they would be my first choice and I will be sure to share my experience with others. I have to add that when I first called I spoke with the owners daughter when I asked about needing this and right away she said absolutely and they will help as well, once arrived I was greeted by the wife/mother and the crew of beautiful dogs and again she was was very helpful and given it’s not the typical way they sell their materials she was extremely generous in pricing and it truly helped. This is how family own businesses stay in business by helping people in their own community in the good and bad times!”

“Summer, Scott G, Cassie and Geo were all absolutely amazing on Tuesday! By far some of the best help I've ever received anywhere. Every single one of them went above and beyond to help me after I've had a devastating fire and trying to rebuild. I have run I to sooo many useless, unhelpful and unkind people along the way but not here! I needed some assistance in a hurry and the experience I encountered the other night was just mind-boggling and very rare these days. I had not 1 not 2 but FOUR people go over the top to help me in more ways than I can explain. They actually listened cared and I cannot say enough kind things about them all. They deserve raises and more”

“Ordered a large item to be delivered and had to call for help when we realized it might not come assembled but had already completed the order. Got Jarrod in Somerset. What a helpful, nice, professional guy!!! He took care of everything AND called me back to let me know it would be delayed one day so we wouldn't be looking out the window waiting. Thank you, Jarrod..... you ROCK!!! Love this store!!”

“I just bought a house and this is the closest Home Depot so I've been here a lot. I find most of the staff to be extremely helpful. They helped me figure out what I needed to build a garden bed. Bought my weed wacker and my grill here. Staff is always very friendly here. Very helpful in the paint section too.”
