“Visited location and Tom gave us the grand tour & history of business. Plus was very informative about the lighting & their history. Item we purchased was shipped carefully, arrived in great condition, item is a great piece that Tom has restored. All good, highly recommend. Next time we are in Boston will visit again in person. Thanks”
“Annette not only runs a beautifully curated shop, but her sales are equally thoughtfully organized, fair, and full of amazing finds. Expect to find everything from everyday items to antiques. It’s clear she puts real care into how everything is presented, and she's always kind and approachable. She clearly respects both the families she works with and the buyers she welcomes. Shopping with her is always a positive experience, and I can’t recommend checking out either enough!”
“This is my first and last recommendation for anyone with a wood fireplace. When we first bought a home with a fireplace, this was our one-step shop to start using it. I walked in knowing nothing and with only a measurement of the fireplace opening, and walked out with everything I needed. It's also an amazing vibe, absolutely worth visiting. The owner is extremely kind, welcoming, and knowledgable. Also great prices on firewood.”

“I had a wonderful experience working with this small business on a custom map. The attention to detail was outstanding, and they were thoughtful and responsive throughout the entire process. They really took the time to understand what I was looking for and delivered a beautiful, high-quality product. You can tell Steven cares deeply about his work and his customers. I would absolutely recommend Ward Maps to anyone looking for a meaningful, custom piece.”
“A fantastic antique shop with lovely owners that are very informative of their stock. You learn something new about everything they sell and I highly recommend checking them out!”
“Excellent professional service. Job well-done. Selection of available frames is a bit limited, however. We selected one frame that had to be ordered but never came in. The second frame we chose was supposed to be available within a week but took more than another month for our piece to be ready. Some of this may have been due to low inventories at suppliers due to Covid, and The Frame Gallery did a very good job keeping us informed about delays. All-in-all, we will definitely use them in the future and recommend them with the above qualifier.”
“Hidden gem. They're easy to work with and he's good looking. Don't go away where else, because he will work with you. Stop by and check out their inventory. They have all your jewelry needs.”
“I have purchased many beautiful items from All That Matters. Ursula, the owner, has wonderful taste in everything from jewelry to all kinds of furniture. All That Matters also has great Christmas gifts and decorations.”

“Beautiful store filled with treasures - when you purchase something here you keep it forever and pass it down. Everything is special and unique and the service is beyond excellent - highly recommend.”
“Derek replaced the plexiglass on one of my roomate’s Japanese frog painting after I clumsily cracked it while working out in my apartment. He stapled the new plexiglass to the frame in a way that made it more stable than before and even sealed some of the flaws in the frame to give it a smoother/more clean appearance. He got the piece back to me in less than a week and packaged it securely so it wouldn’t get damaged on the ride home. I will definitely be coming back to this location if I have any more picture frame related needs or (in this case) woes, and you should do the same!”
“Didnt wanna leave a bad review cuz i didnt go in but i reccomend you update google if youre gonna be closing down for a while, i drove all the way out here when it said it was open and it was closed”

“super cute atmosphere and kind staff! Not your average thrift shop, expect boutique/ reseller pricing. I liked their sunglasses. Didn't buy but if you a spare $50 it can get you one shirt.”
“Had the pleasure to talk with Wayne, who quickly helped me figure out what to do about a 100+ year old gramophone I had. Really honest and kind, and helped me out a whole lot. If you’re trying to figure out what to do with some old antiques and collectibles, a definitely recommend contacting central mass auctions!”

“Wonderful store with an outstanding collection of items curated by the owner. I can always find something great here, whether it’s a gift or something for our home. Highly recommended!”
“I had a great experience today purchasing a lampshade for an unusually sized and shaped lamp. I had previously gone online and had all the measurements for what should work, but I decided it was better to talk with an expert who could make a recommendation. That’s what I got and I am very happy with my purchase. It’s the value you don’t get online, full service, no wasted packaging, and supporting local business.”
“Good antique store for all budgets, small but good selection of antiquarian books, large selection of furniture and glassware, vases, etc. Owner is friendly and helpful. Overall a great place”
“Such a nice store! I think I spent more time talking to the owners who were so friendly and welcoming. This was my first time in Beacon Hill after moving to Boston and Upstairs Downstairs has become a staple for me. They had some really great pieces at what I thought were very reasonable prices. Will definitely be recommending and com ing back.”
“This is a very cool place. Lots of vendor booths with everything from vintage clothes, toys, housewares, books, etc. I always find something unique. Employees are really helpful here. I needed to exchange an item that I was told would work but unfortunately, it didn't. The owner and employee were quick to make the situation right. Will definitely continue to come back.”

“Great store the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I have purchased many items throughout years and have been extremely satisfied with every purchase. You cannot beat the quality of the merchandise and the prices are very reasonable.”
“Absolutely my favorite place to shop for just about everything! Everyone that works there is so friendly and Mark can always put a smile on your face and give you a great deal! Don't pass this place up! You will find so many things you didn't even know that you needed!”
“I see people calling this a scam... what this place is a time capsule- a real treasure chest and if youre lucky enough to visit then listen to Patricas most incredible story that she tells proudly. I see people complaining about spending $20 on a book. Shes not forcing you to buy it. Shes a clever lady. Not everyone that walks through her door will spend $500 on an antique ring.. shes running a non profit shop. She also has to eat and she takes a taxi to go to work everyday. This costs money. Shes 102 and still shows up to work everyday. It was an honour meeting her and i loved every second in this shop. PS to the people who begrudingly paid $20 for her book, i paid $40 and she signed it and i love it!”

“Responding to AV Wells…The owner of the store has been in the emergency room at the hospital since this morning before the store opened. Maybe if he was a psychic he could have posted that on his store window just for you. It amazes me how quick people are to criticize when they don’t even know what’s going on.”
“Very nice little shop. It's small, but not overly cluttered. It has a lot if neat knick knacks and antiques, as well as some newer stuff. It also feels like everything was in good condition, not just old junk someone doesn't want. Pricing was reasonable. The lady running the place was friendly when I asked questions. They have a punch card where if you buy enough stuff, you get a coupon for a future purchase, which is pretty neat in my opinion. Definitely worth a stop by if you're in the area!”

“An absolute gem of a store with lovely customer service and very good prices. I bought a pair of fireplace andirons and they were also willing to place a larger furniture piece on hold for me for a couple of days so that I can check I have a good spot for it. I could have spent a fortune in there, there are so many treasures ... lovely furniture, so many interesting and unique smaller items, rugs, a whole MCM section. I will be a regular customer for sure!”
“A gem of a place. Quality people doing quality work. I asked them to glue up and refinish my reproduction antique tabletop. The purpose of the glue up was to turn the 4 pieces of the top into a solid piece. I had removed the skirt before bringing the pieces in. Dan Jr sent me back home for the skirt and they ended up fabricating the pieces to make a full 360 degree skirt. It looks amazing. Then they finished it all with a nice mahogany color stain and light gloss urethane.”
