OMGGGGG! The Dorchester Food Co-op was as absolute dream. I love all the variety and dietary options for customers. The staff was very pleasant and very helpful. The Co-op was very clean and inviting. You can also become member which is an awesome feature for the community. I will be going back.

The Mission of the Dorchester Food Co-op (DFC) is:
to challenge the traditional food system by building a community and worker-owned asset that nourishes, employs, and reinvests in the local community.
We're hoping our doors will open in mid-August.
The store is located at 195 Bowdoin St. in the Bowdoin-Geneva neighborhood. DFC is a resident-led response to the challenges of economic disinvestment and food insecurity in Dorchester, the largest and most diverse neighborhood of Boston. The building has 41 units of affordable housing with DFC as the tenant of the ground floor commercial space.
