If this place gives you a dog and says there are no behavioral issues, don’t believe them. They will lie and lie and lie. And if any issues pop up, they deny deny deny. Don’t go to this place, they’ll leave you hanging until euthanasia is the only option. If they really cared about the dogs they rehome, they would be transparent about their behaviors and situations. Out of sight, out of mind for this place. They do not care at ALL once they get their money.

The staff are amazing and extremely knowledgeable! They go above and beyond providing lots of love and support for each little furry friend that comes their way. We completed the adoption process and love our new addition to the family ❤️

This was our first experience with Dog Orphans. Awesome, friendly people! I'd recommend calling them to make an appointment to come in, which worked well for us. We did adopt Cardi, who is a gem and fits in perfectly with our family!

I came to see some puppies with my kiddos as it’s best to see how the child and dog Interact before deciding on adopting. And I will say the staff wasn’t really inviting from the moment I showed up. The conversation right off the bat was completely insulting, and insinuating that we were not fit for caring for a puppy just because we have two children. I believe showing up in person is enough truth to how serious and ready our family is to take on the task. I understand trying to educate one on how much work a puppy is but I believe in the way this was approached wasn’t the best. Very poor customer service. They went from one application ahead of me to when I left after meeting the puppy to 7……. Make it make sense. We previously had a dog before so we know what it’s like but we feel as though they completely dismissed us and used everything in the books to not sell to us. Shame on them.

Me and my family went here to find a puppy for our family and when we walked inside, there where a person downstairs in the basement and we waited for about 10 minutes and kept knocking and yelling to see if someone would come. But no one came so we eventually left.

My family adopted a puppy there and had kennel cough. The people are very nice there and have a nice setup, dogs look well cared for. I just don't understand if this is a rescue how they manage to get a 5 moth old puppy from, I think they said Georgia, to Massachusetts to offer it for adoption. I question where it actually came from.Hopefully it's not what I think.Nice people there and nice place.

I adopted two bonded 5 month old cat siblings from dog orphans. We actually went to look at another cat but fell in love and adopted our fur babies. Ron and Hannah manage the shelter. They were kind and helpful throughout the adoption proceedings. They welcomed us warmly(even though we didn’t have an appointment) and treated us without any judgement or bias(unlike another shelter we visited)They made the whole experience enjoyable and memorable.I would highly recommend you visit this shelter. Hannah is dedicated towards keeping the animals happy and they really go above and beyond !!!!We sure did find our purrfect furbabies here ❤️

I wanted to look at a dog and the staff here are very rude and not very welcoming. They don't pay any attention to you when you walk in and have you wait 30 minutes instead of taking time away from their computer to acknowledge you're there. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here. I had the worst experience on trying to look at any of their dogs. When they finally did come to me. I notice all the dogs I wanted to look at where already in process and it took them 20 minutes to figure it out. Not organized at all and no signs showing they were in the process. On the other note I really find this place to be a joke. The staff are very rude and I didn't feel welcomed one bit. I recommend going somewhere else where people can be more welcomed and not rude.
