Water was a bit dirty so wasn't the surrounding areas but overall good experience no stupid music allowed so huge plus on the scene well worth the parking fee just to enjoy me and my kids Sunday unbothered.

this lake used to be a pleasure but the park employees have gotten worse with their racism.

Went here last December during break. Probably hiked for about 3-4 hours and it was great. Trails are in good condition and the views are gorgeous on a clear day.

Great place where you can grill and also bring your pet. Please pick up after your pet if you ever plan on bringing it. Beautiful calm place to be in. My family and I loved it. You have to be there early enough to get in.Dog-friendliness: Please pick up after your pets makes it better for us all pet owners.

Appropriate accomodations for most visitors, ample space and family friendly. While the beach was packed, there still seemed enough to go around. The lifeguards were doing a good job of maintaining a safe beach.

Great place for a variety of walks or hikes. We go with our preschooler often on some of the shorter trails. The lake is also a highlight, with spots for picnics and boating.

Went there for our grand daughters birthday party. Had a nice pavilion we sat under. Also a place to set up corn hole or horse shoes. Nice beach area for swimming. We parked on side of the road. There are Porta potties for bathroom facilities. They were very clean.Restrooms: Porta potties that were very cleanPicnic area: Picnic tables all around and also under the pavilion they used for the birthday party.

Lots of trails and has some good views of water. The best is definitely the cedar swamp board walk, but there are some trails where it just feels like ordinary woods. Definitely worth going and there are many different entrances and access points to try. Some official and others not so much

It can be nice to walk the trails but be careful lots have gotten lost there. So pay attention to where you're going.

This is very extensive there's a reservoir for fishing a few spots have public facility's. And barbeque pits. The Southern New England Trunk line trail runs threw it.Many old wide gravel roads threw out. With hiking paths off of those. You could spend a month exploring all the trails.
