Noanet Woodlands is absolutely one of my favorite places to hike. The trail is fairly easy and there are plenty of sites. The old iron mill is quite historic and cool to see. The ponds are very picturesque especially in fall. And the hike up to the summit is fun and challenging. You can see the Boston skyline from the summit as well.

Noanet Woodlands has many different trails that showcase a variety of wildlife and vegetation. Experiencing each trail will show their different scenery and level of difficulty. While most of the trails could be completed by even the most novice of hiker, the trail “Noanet Peak” has strenuous elevation that will make anyone break a sweat (however you will be rewarded with a great view of the reservation should you choose to travel it). The trails are labeled well and they also make use of natural landmarks that hikers can use to orientate themselves, such as Sawmill Pond or Third Iron Pond. A great walk and interesting landscape make this perfect afternoon hike. Fair warning, bring bug spray!

A wonderful afternoon in the Noanet Woodlands with the family. The trail leading upto the lookout point was relatively easy and very colorful. It was fairly busy on Saturday afternoon. Loved the small pond on the way! Recommended.

Noanet Woodlands is another favorite woodsy area to add to my list (another recent favorite is another Trustees property in Andover, the Ward Reservation). The two are somewhat similar with different color coded trails and a trail to reach a summit for the skyline of Boston (I didn't check that out here at Noanet Woodlands for this trip). I enjoyed coming here on the weekend: it was moderately trafficked (which I like so it's not *too* isolated), and easy/moderate trails (I prefer long, ambling hikes). The only thing is that the orange trail I took was a bit confusing/not super clear. The overall system does a good job, but I would be sure to download a map/have AllTrails active to ensure you don't end up in the wrong spot. I fortunately ran into some folks who helped me get back on track, but a heads up that it could get confusing as it did for me.Otherwise, a wonderful shady (important to know on hotter days) set of trails that I would recommend!

Liked hiking here over Memorial Day weekend. Pretty quiet, and well maintained trails. Not the most well-marked, although might be my fault cos I didn't start with the map. Still, had fun, but definitely going back to do it properly and see the peak and pond.

Not a bad place for a short "hike." Slight elevation on top overlooking Boston. That was a nice area. The trails are well marked & there's an old mill & dam.

Nice walk but be aware of your footing since most of the trail (red and yellow ones anyway) have lots of rocks and roots to contend with. Colors weren't as bright as we had hoped , they need to plant more maples!

Had no idea this place even existed. What a great hike. Get to the summit for views of Boston. You will love this place. Part of the Trustees of Reservations.

We went on a mixture of trail, going to the summit and then passing the dam. It was very nice. The kids enjoyed it!
