About Standish Humane Society (not open to the public- visit our website)
Standish Humane Society is a wonderful and caring place, described as cat care at its best. It is a loving collective of volunteers and its staff are extremely kind, compassionate, and helpful. The cats are safe, well cared for, and special. The adoption experience is above and beyond, with support that does not end after adoption. They are always looking for good adopting families. It is an amazing animal shelter where the cats will live long, happy lives in forever homes.

If you are thinking about having a cat as a pet, this is the place to check out. Very caring, knowledgeable staff can suggest/ pair you with the right cat. They do a thorough interview before placing a cat in a new home. The cats are healthy, neutered or spayed before you take them home.
