Wow! I just had the most peaceful weekend at Atlantic Oaks last weekend. The location is ideal for everything on the Cape, the staff went out of their way to be helpful, and the facilities are perfect! We pulled in late on Thursday night after dark, and set up on a level site with electric water and a dump connection. Took me no more than 30 minutes to set up before I was sitting inside the camper with a hot pot of tea. it’s right next to the rail, trail and all sorts of beautiful places to hike so my dog loved it too. I would recommend this to anybody!

Really enjoyed Atlantic Oaks Campground. Great location on the Cape. The immediate area had a lot to offer. It's a short drive to the ocean side or the bay side beaches as well as direct access to the Cape Cod Rail Trail. It's also a short drive to Orleans or Chatham in one direction and Wellfleet, Truro and Provincetown in the other. The campground roads are not paved but we didn't have any problems riding our bikes or walking on them. The campground was quiet and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. This campground allows dogs and although we didn't have a pet to bring we enjoyed other people's. I was never bothered by any barking and never saw any animal waste left on the ground. Campsites are on the small side but there was some shrubbery between the shady sites, people were friendly and considerate and we were out and about during the day anyway.

Well, another bike camping trip on the Cape and another fine night staying here. Someone mentioned in another review that they thought this place is a "cash grab", and I could not disagree more. It's also the cleanest and most well-run private campground on the Cape, in my opinion. I had made a reservation earlier that day in person on the phone, mentioned I would be getting in late. I got a friendly call from them later to make sure I could get to camp ok if it was after hours, and to make sure I did so quietly. I was impressed at the concern not just of my experience but that of the other guests. I write this on the front porch, just outside their very nice common area, sipping a good cup of coffee ($1.75, vs $3 at the far inferior North of Highlands campground) and about to get back on the bike. One more note, I mentioned I had forgotten to pack a cup, didn't see anything just right in their otherwise well-appointed camp store, and wouldn't you know Brian pulls up at my site later in his golf cart with the loan of a coffee mug! In the thru-hiking/biking community they call that "trail magic".

I was bikepacking on the CCRT (Cape Cod Rail Trail) recently and spent a fine night there. It's quiet, well-run, friendly management. I even got a ride in a golf cart! It's an RV park, make no mistake (and there's nothing wrong with that, as I also have an RV), but they have a few spots for tents on the edges and they are nice.If you're biking to Provincetown during the week when the Wellfleet state campground is (stupidly) closed, this is also a key spot to stay at.All in all, a pleasant stay. Recommended.

I wish I could camp here the entire summer. I have been camping here with my mom for several years and we love it more and more every visit. We hop onto the rail trail with our bikes and we are at Nauset Light Beach in no time. And at the end of a long beach day, there is nothing like a glorious outdoor shower. The campground feels very safe and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful (special shout out to Linda!). We stayed in our tent for two weeks and we did not want to leave. We lucked out with only two days of rain, but luckily we had the beautiful lounge area to stay dry during the evening and to play a few board games. The camp store is also very convenient for firewood, ice, and coffee cream. We cannot wait to be back for summer 2024!!Restrooms: Very clean and well lit at night time

It’s in a nice town near the beach, but it’s pitch black at night and the roads are tight and hard to stroll or drive on

We spent 2 weeks here, and it was great. Staff is courteous & friendly, especially Dave & Kathy. Facilities are clean & convenient. Ice, water, and several other camping conveniences are available on sight, like coin operated laundry. Restrooms are clean & well-kept, with 3 outdoor shower stalls and several indoor private shower rooms-maybe 6. Campground has direct access to the Cape Cod Bike Trail, which was very convenient. Each space has a fire ring w/ grill & a picnic table. Spaces are close together, but we had plenty of room for 36 ft trailer, patio mat, awning, canopy, 5 bikes & camp chairs. Trees between sights provide shade and a feel of camping in nature. Other clientele seemed calm & courteous as well. We will definitely recommend & plan to stay again in the future.

Our family has been coming to this campground for the last couple years. The perfect location if you want access to great beaches and great food. Clean facility and super nice staff. A shout out to David P and Kathy P. If we have any issues with our site or looking to plan our next trip. I know I'm always in good hands.

Very nice campground. Clean. Nice sites. Nice staff. My only "complaints": 1-the roads are made of gravel and some of the gravel is quite large so it was really difficult to take a walk. Really hard on my feet and had to hang on to my husband to keep from turning my ankle. 2-the showers are very nice but I like extremely hot water. The first day it was super hot. After that it wasn't. I noticed a lot of campers used the showers so maybe the hot water was used up.3-the internet wasn't great but lots of channels on the cable TV which was nice.overall this is a very nice campground and I would stay here again.

Nice place! Office staff is so nice and helpful! Bathrooms, shower rooms very clean. Love the dishwashing station! My only “complaint” is that the music in the bathroom is pretty loud. Not a deal breaker by any stretch. Love the location. Near the beaches, Ptown and all the great areas of the Cape. We will be back!!!

Had a reservation first week of June '23. Night before trip departure my tow vehicle was hit by another vehicle....all ok, but truck was unusable. Called to cancel my reservation, even under these circumstances they refused to refund my deposit. Bad business...never again.
