“Convenient stop right off the highway to grab a few things (we got hummus, cheese, grapes, crackers and wine for a light dinner). Friendly cashier and decent prices considering the convenience and location”

“I went to the store this weekend and I had a great experience !!!! Super pretty cashier, I guess her name was Alesya, she helped me to select the tastiest vodka I've ever tried!!! I drowned in her eyes while she took my money oh hell. The only pity is that I was too shy to take her number. Will definitely visit this store again and again. Hope I will die from alchocolism and meet her in heaven.”

“I've now been here four times! Great selection of wine from around the world and at many price points, not just the top end that we cant afford. Very knowledgeable team who will answer any questions you have and make quality recommendations. In addition to this they have a great, curated selection of spirits, many you have probably not seen before! Add to this some great pantry food selections of sauces, salts, pasta cheese etc.. Can you see why I come back every time I am in the Cape? Do yourself a favour and stop in. You will not come out empty handed.”

“My go to bev' store for Avalon Chardonnay, discounted 90 point plus red wines and liqueurs. Huge selection, friendly staff and 20% discount if you buy a case of the same wine. And multiple locations. Cheers!!!”

“Great experience! Jogging and only had a couple of bucks with us, the clerk was really nice and charged us a sale price on a 2 for 1 deal, even though we couldn't afford both items. Thank you! If we are ever back in the area we'll definitely stop in again and give you the other 50 cents or whatever it was! :)”

“The two ladies working were extremely helpful, I couldn't find what I was looking for and they were ready to call and see if they could get a bottle of what I wanted. Excellent customer service, thank you.”

“The employees were super nice. The store had a great wine selection, but the beer selection was not as good. We found everything we were looking for, but there were not many craft beers.”

“Needed some nice wine as a gift for a wine-loving here French friend. Pulled up and thought, from looking at the outside, "this packie isn't going to have anything." BOY WAS I WRONG!! Lots of great possibilities here. Good cabs, Zin, Pinot Noirs, and other reds from Napa and Sonoma County (Napa quality, minus the Napa over-charge), New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs, some Albariño even, Rieslings, rosé... This place is great. Even though it's small, it's fun to explore and the gent behind the counter knew his stuff. Yes, they've got plenty of beer and spirits as well. Is it inexpensive? No, silly, you're on the Cape.”

“Surpringly good selection of French wines. Much better actually than in other stores in Brewster and Orleans. My go-to place to get a bottle of Bordeaux for dinner and not to overpay. Recommended.”

“For a small, island liquor store, Millstone constantly delights. We visit the Cape about 6 times a year, and always make Millstone a specific stop. They have all the regular stuff you need, but perhaps because they enjoy the eclectic that is Cape Cod, they take risks that other major market shops can't. I've discovered some of my own regular whiskey and tequila stock by trying product I've never seen anywhere else. And we are always looking for interesting liquor stores in our travels. They also have an amazing selection of beers, and a decent selection of hard ciders. Also, friendly, knowledgeable staff - suspect most times we've been served by the owners. If you are heading to Nickerson (keeping in mind that you can't drink in the park) or Ocean's Edge, or even all the way to Orleans or Provincetown, Millstone is a great place to provision.”

“Had an awesome experience here! I have to eat gluten free, and while they don't have gluten free wraps or bread, they were extremely accommodating and made me a delicious lettuce wrap. Great, personalized service! Really appreciate the effort to give me a great "sandwich" :)”

“Friendly owners. Large, quality selection of wines take up 1/3 of the store. Above average variety of snacks, cold sodas, energy drinks, etc. Toiletries and frozen foods. The ice cream selections could be improved. We were headed back from the beach and wanted ice cream. Not taking a star off for that, though, because there are tons of actual ice cream places nearby. We were just lazy and wanted ice cream and gas in one place.”

“Store is very clean and organized. They have a great selection of wine, beer (also CRAZY amazing craft beer cooler) and liquor. They also have three large cedar wood humidors with an awesome selection of cigars, many I haven’t seen on Cape before now. The employees were so friendly and super helpful.”

“I haven't done an exhaustive search, but there are only 4 stores in this part of the Cape that stock less common wines, and who have employees that can talk about wines in a reasonably knowledgable way. This is one of the 4...but I should hasten to add that some employees are REALLY knowledgable (John, Mack), but there are also some folks who know close to nothing about wine. There wine selection was quite poor mid-pandemic, but seems to be recovering now. They have a great selection of small brewery and local brew offerings. Their prices aren't the best, but some of the posts exaggerate this issue: when I looked at the VERY PRICEY Pappy Van Winkle, it seemed to be the price that that particular year was commanding (though ridiculously high, in my opinion). Yes, you can get a bottle of widely available spirits for a bit less (I am thinking specifically of Knob Creek bourbon, which is priced about 10% higher here, and sometimes other stores put it on sale, which makes the Portside price rather unappealing), if you don't mind driving a few extra miles. But the reasons for seeking out this store relate to the wines and beers that they have available, and more unusual spirits that you can find here (like Pappy Van Winkle). So it really depends upon what you want, and if you are specifically looking for wine, whether you happen to go in when one of their wine experts is available.”

“I like a Semillon wine called Brokenwood that is grown in Hunter Valley Australia. I have difficulty obtaining this wine in FL even from large big box stores such as Total Wine. I asked the Wellfleet Sprits if they could order me this wine. They took a picture of the label and ordered the product. They have been supplying this wine at a reasonable price since I buy it by the case. They went the extra mile for my business.”
