I only have wonderful thinks to say about Little Capistrano’s and I’ve never even set foot inside. My partner and I were biking along the trail nearby and my chain slipped and was tightly lodged rendering the bike unusable. After tugging at it for 30+ minutes, Julian, an employee at Little Capistrano’s stopped to help us as he was his way home after his shift at Little Capistrano’s. It definitely wasn’t an easy fix, which made us feel better about not being able to resolve the issue, but Julian was able to troubleshoot, take the wheel off and use his expertise to fix it all in a few minutes. I truly don’t know what we would have done if he hadn’t offered his help. He’s clearly very good at what he does and was so kind to help two oblivious tourists without a second thought. I cannot believe how lucky we were.If management sees this, give him an extra 30 minutes on his timesheet!! He was so wonderful and absolutely saved our day!!! We cannot thank him enough!!

Needed bike tire repairs. Was done perfectly, promptly, fairly, professionally. A great small business that I will return to and recommend to friends.

The staff here was incredibly friendly; unfortunately, that didn’t make up for the quality of the bikes. The worst was my 7yo son’s bike - the chain fell off during our ride ~10 times. It was a hilly route to Coast Guard Beach, which made the stop-and-go with two small kids (one in a trailer) even more difficult to bear. We gave up after 2hrs, despite paying for 4. If you have a child still learning to ride well, I’d recommend a different shop.

These guys squeezed me in for a repair when I was out on the cape. They fixed a flat and changed tires on two bikes. It can get really busy on the Cape during high season but they were very accommodating. It was a pleasure working with them.

There’s no other bike shop like this on the Cape. At Little Cap, they treat you like family and make sure you have everything you need to have the best day biking the Cape Cod Rail Trail. My family has been going to The Little Capistrano bike shop since by brother and I were babies. Back then, they were incredibly helpful and friendly and got my parents hooked up with the trailer so that my dad could pull us in the trailer. Now, some 25 years later, my fiancé and I have visited the bike shop multiple times in the last couple years and had THE BEST experience. With a huge smile, Alex helped us find the right bikes for us, got us set up with baskets, helmets and locks. He was so friendly and we felt so welcomed and like we were in good hands. We rode off on our bikes away from Little Cap with huge smiles on our own faces. Everyone there is incredible and they genuinely care about what they do.Also the location couldn’t be more perfect to head right to Coast Guard (my personal favorite ride), or to Orleans, it’s really a central spot! The last time we were there, they even had some beautiful local artwork for sale in the shop! A very nice touch!Whether you’re a family with kiddos, or someone just looking for a place to get on two wheels and enjoy riding around the Cape, Little Cap is the place to go rent your bikes- highly recommend !!<3- The Murphy’s

My husband and myself rented bikes from little Capistrano during our stay in Welfleet yesterday. I would definitely recommend bike rentals from The Little Capistrano. We had the opportunity to meet Mark at the who was so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. My husband was 9 weeks post-op from knee replacement and the first time on a bike since surgery (besides PT). Mark (the owner) also had knee replacement previously and recommended what type of bike my husband should use and the reason. When we left we felt like we knew him our whole lives. You will not go wrong renting a bike from Little Capistrano's with the bike path right behind his business it was so convenient to park our car there and ride the bikes on the bike trail right behind his business and go to Marconi Beach. It was a fun day and a highlight of our trip to the Cape.

The young man who serviced us was very kind and laid back. He answered our questions thoroughly and made sure we were well situated on our bikes before we left on the trail. He gave us a bike lock and map which was nice. Helmets were included as an option. The rental rate was very reasonable - just over $20 for two hours of biking.I though the bikes were of good quality however my date's bike seat kept sinking and she had to constantly readjust it. I'm not sure if the seat latch was not tight enough or it wasn't properly adjusted before we left, regardless she had a tough time riding back because her legs weren't getting full extension. Deducting a star for this reason. My bike was perfectly fine, however.I would recommend this place but just make sure you're totally well adjusted on your bike before leaving.

We rented bikes from the Wellfleet shop at the start/end of the Cape Cod Rail Trail. We had not pre-booked but arrived as the shop opened at 9.00. The bikes were in very good condition and the service was fast and efficient. Very good value for money.

Very friendly staff. Bikes were in great shape. Good prices. Gave us pointers about the bike path and what was around. Just a 10 min bike ride to the beach. Definitely recommend.

Brought them my bike for some routine maintenance. First, they charge me less than their standard rates, because they ended up doing less work than standard. And, they have the bike ready when they said they would, in spite of the summer crush. Then, backing out of their lot I manage to bang the bike on a tree, and knock the rear wheel out of true. They fix it for me immediately--and don't charge any more for my klutziness. PS I've rented from here too previously, good place to get a bike for a couple hours

Incredible bike rental experience! The staff was so kind and helpful making sure we were comfortable on the bikes before even leaving. They also gave us a map, directions, and recommended places to eat. Great service and experience, would recommend this bike shop above other bigger ones in the area.
