There are not enough adjectives or words to describe this Inn B&B. It was quiet, beautiful grounds. Gourmet breakfasts, Extremely comfortable rooms. The location was perfect for us.
Steve and Christina the owners and their children were exceptional. They could not do enough to accommodate us, plus give us advice, directions and places we might like to visit, and shop.

We spent two nights in this quintessential New England inn. The grounds are stunning and spacious, with chairs placed strategically to enjoy the outdoors. Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. It is in a great location, close enough to get to places by car but far enough away to be peaceful. We stayed in the guest house, and the room was immaculate and spacious. The bed and pillows were not super comfortable for us, but that was a small detail compared to the rest of the stay. We would certainly go back again!

We stayed for 3 nights - Aug. 18-21.
Whalewalk has superior customer service. They are concerned with your every need.
We liked our room very much - besides a king size bed and a lovely small porch, our room had a fantastic, huge triangular tub.
Our only complaint was more of a suggestion. I have challenges walking and would have greatly benefitted from simple railings at all entrances. I don't think these would be hard or costly to add.
We made this suggestion and it was received kindly and the response was 'its something to think about.'
Although we have made reservations for 2 nights in September, we greatly hope railings are in the very near future.
ps - we were very appreciative of the 3 course breakfasts.

We had the chance to stay in two different rooms this visit, and both were very nice. The cottage was renovated, private, and spacious. The guesthouse room was also quite spacious and comfortable, and my daughter liked it best. Definitely the best place to stay in this part of Cape Cod.

Once again, my wife and I had a beautiful, relaxing stay at the Whalewalk Inn. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Service was tremendous. Breakfast was delicious every morning. Restaurants and beaches were only minutes away. I highly recommend the Whalewalk Inn.

The Whalewalk Inn is pleasant, clean, homey, and not at all institutional. The grounds are well maintained. We had a small private outdoor space, and there were strategically placed shrubs outside our ground level room that kept us from having to keep the shades down. The breakfasts were great, with beautiful fresh fruit. Hot and cold beverages and snacks are available all the time, and they provide beach towels and chairs. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely quaint grounds, clean room, truly outstanding breakfast and very friendly staff. Great overall. Steve clearly understands it’s about the total customer experience and the focus of him and his family is solely on the guests. Shoutout to Michael on job well done. Highly recommended.

My wife and I have stayed in countless inns and B and B's over the past 45 years but we find the Whalewalk Inn to be the most delightful of all. The setting, rooms, and the breakfasts outdoors under an open wooden canopy are wonderful. We have now been there three years running and hope to continue to visit yearly. And the staff and owners could not be more gracious. Just a charming place.

Look no further if you’re searching for a place to stay on the Cape! The location, value, and white glove service is hard to match. Before we even arrived, Christina & Steve sent several messages checking in and making themselves available to answer any questions. When we arrived, Christina was awaiting us and gave us a tour of the grounds and provided some maps and recommendations for the area. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The main house and our room on the second floor had so much character but also modern conveniences. Everything was nicely curated with a coastal aquatic Cape vibe. The central location is hard to beat as you can easily get to the outer cape and inner cape as well as the beach and the bay. We were there before traffic got too bad, but nowhere we went was much more than 30 mins away, with many spots just 5 mins away. But I think what is truly unique about the Whalewalk was the service. You feel like you’re staying with family and friends. Someone is always around the main house to say hi and ask about your day and offer up recommendations. The complimentary breakfast was off the charts. Served outside (or inside) in a beautiful covered terrace. It was one of the favorite parts of my trip - and we did A LOT of fun stuff. All in all, as you can tell from my long review, I can’t recommend the Whalewalk highly enough. We will surely return whenever we head back to the Cape. Thank you so much Christina and Steve and team!

We went to the WhaleWalk Inn and Spa for a special occasion in early June 2024.
It was everything we wanted and more.
We had the West Suite and found it to be comfy and clean. IF we had needed them all of the amenities were there for our use.
The grounds are well kept and we enjoyed sitting out there in the evening.
The staff was so polite and helpful. We had a tour by Christina that answered all our questions.
The fitness center was very well equipped and used by us.
Breakfast by Steven and Clara was delicious and tastefully served. We enjoyed sweet one day and savoury the next. Eating outside was a treat but the indoor seating was well decorated and spacious.
The location worked perfect for us. It was a short ride to the beach , restaurants and the bike trail. We would recommend this site. It would accomodate couples, friends and families.

This place is truly a hidden gem. Property was absolutely gorgeous. Room was clean and very cozy. The amenities were nice and easy to use. We especially loved the sauna! The breakfast is a three course meal. They accommodated nicely to dietary restrictions. The food was sooo delicious. We felt spoiled the whole time. The owners were very friendly and gave us great recommendations. They had beach chairs for us to use which was helpful! Very close to a few beaches. Will be coming back for sure!

We selected the Whalewalk Inn to stay due to their location to the Cape Cod bike trails. We have electric bikes which we enjoy riding on the rails to trails (old railroad tracks turned into bike trails). We were so impressed with how well kept & large the Inn was. Very spread out along their beautiful landscaped yard. We loved the privacy & comfortable secluded porch which was connected to our Carriage House room. The breakfast was superb. Switching from one morning serving a “Sweet” breakfast the next day a “Savor” breakfast. The sweet breakfast consisted of blueberry pancakes, excellent tasting zucchini bread & an amazing selection of fresh fruit; then the next day a “Savor” breakfast consisting of a delicious avocado toast with eggs, amazing chocolate banana mini bunts & a citrus fruit stack. The owners provide excellent customer service. We were very impressed with the Whalewalk Inn & look forward to returning next summer.Rooms: Very clean & comfy bedsNearby activities: Cape cod bike trails has hundreds of miles of fun riding.

We greatly enjoyed our 3-night stay at this family-run inn. Christina and Steve were very welcoming owners, and interesting to talk to. It was a convivial and friendly atmosphere in the inn, with some guests striking up conversations with other guests over breakfast, but there was also plenty of space and privacy so no sense of this being intrusive. It's just outside Orleans town, but only a very short drive from the restaurants etc of Orleans, and I assume all visitors are coming with cars and are prepared to drive a very short way (less than 10 mins) to dinner. Given the tranquility of the location, the nice gardens (and great star-gazing), it certainly felt like a good trade off to us versus being in a downtown area.We were in the Rose room, which was one of their standard rooms (as in, not a deluxe/upgraded room) and even though that was the lowest tier price-wise, we found it really charming, and not too small at all. It was in the main building, which we really liked (although the other rooms/cabins dotted over the grounds were no doubt just as pleasant, and might have had their own advantages from extra space or privacy, so to each their own!). Decoration throughout the inn was quaint and whale-themed. We had absolutely no problems with hearing any neighboring rooms, and found it very peaceful; walls must be very thick. The only thing I would note was that the minifridge in our room (a really nice amenity) did hum more noticeably at night, and since alas I'm very sensitive to noise when trying to sleep, I did end up using my earplugs for this! This wasn't a flaw, but just something I'll mention for other guests who might want to make similar provisions! We appreciated Christina's recs for dinner (we LOVED Land Ho), and the breakfasts were, as everyone has commented, a delight. Housekeeping was noticeably good (very thorough, very quick--much better than I've experienced in many hotels). One of the nicest things was that I had alerted them in advance that it was my fiance's birthday, and they left a little box of local artisan chocolates in the room with a birthday note on arrival. This made him so happy, which made me so happy! It was a very nice touch which really felt in keeping with the warm atmosphere of this family establishment. We would very warmly recommend them to anyone looking for a base for their upcoming trip!
