The guys and gals here are super kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about skiing, they were able to help me pick out and set up a new pair albeit a little bit more expensive than other places. However I was told by the gentleman that helped me that if I’m not happy with the skis or don’t end up using them I can return them. After a couple months I never ended up using them, so I returned to the shop with receipt in hand and the unused skis. When I asked if I could return them I was told, “we don’t do returns here” and after I told him that the gentleman who helped me pick them out said that I could return them or if they were used the shop would buy them back, he still said that they don’t do returns and my only option is to exchange it with a different pair. It is incredibly unprofessional and inappropriate of them to go back on their verbal agreement. Especially when it says nothing about “no returns” on the receipt when I bought them. If anything it says, “*RECEIPT REQUIRED FOR ALL RETURNS*” This should have been more clearly marked or expressed. I’m beyond disappointed and will be looking elsewhere in the future when I need any more ski equipment.

staff did not wear masks. I guess maybe that's legal now in East hampton. but still.... anyway their bikes are not out I guess because of the pandemic yes they haven't been able to get stock. I don't blame them for that. but it looks more like a ski clothing shop then a bike store and certainly there are no cross-country skis. looks like they have a fair number of downhill skis and boots and such. mittens and gloves were expensive some are high quality and some are not. not the best ski place I've been to and not the worst.

I have been a customer of Competitive Edge Ski and Bike in Easthampton MA for many years. The personal attention of their staff to help outfit my daughter with ski equipment was incredible. When leaving we had such a sense of satisfaction. As my daughter is an adult now, this was her first pair of skis and boots she personally paid for. On our ride home she stated how fun and pleased she was in her purchase. Thanks Jim and staff for making the ski equipment purchasing process such a pleasurable experience.

I have been a customer of Competitive Edge Ski and Bike since they first opened their store down the road from Mt. Tom many years ago. I have always been extremely satisfied with their friendly, helpful service, and great quality skis and clothing. I bought a pair of Atomic skis last year and I absolutely love them. They always know how to fit you to the right ski for your skiing ability. Today, I bought myself a new ski outfit and I can't wait to wear it on the slopes next week. I was very happy with the help that I received picking out this new outfit and the price was great. I highly recommend that you shop at this wonderful store!
