Was a customer for four years , was berated by a new cashier and new manger. This cashier had already verified my age with other senior management , senior employees, and my drivers license but still said he refused to sell me alcohol (I’m nearing 30 with grey hair), forcing me to ask for a manger or any other worker in the building, which happened to be someone new. An altercation ensued and the new manager came at me physically. All on camera , obviously. Will never patronize Al’s package store again.

We have some good liquor/package stores on the island but there are a few things that set AL's Package Store apart from the others. The people that work at Al's are very courteous and helpful. They take the time to answer questions over the phone and make sure they have what you need in stock before you drive out there. The selection of IPAs and wine is fantastic and the prices tend to be more reasonable than most other stores.. Their very best attribute is the excellent customer service, you will receive from the employees with kind attitudes. You get the feeling that they legitimately want to help you and value your business.

What a great selection of wines. Not at all what I was expecting from a package store. I snagged a solid wine from Italy. This would be great with a steak. I purchased three bottles of wine and the only glitch I ran into was when the young lady asked, do you want a bag?. Well let's see, I just spent nearly a $100 bucks in wine, should I get a paper bag?....

Typical small town new England "Package Store" or packy. No clue why it's not called a liquor store- small location, however decent selection. Focus is mostly on liquor and beer, decent wine selection, sparse snack and other edible selection.
