We have been to Morning Glory many, many times over the years, so not sure why we've never done a review before. This place is an institution and their pies have definitely earned a warranted reputation as being the best. The baked goods though? Not as much fanfare--the past several times we've stopped by in the morning to get some, they've seen better days. Most recently, our brownie and "starry night cookie" were so overly crumbly and not particularly flavorful. They were fine, we ate them, but still. Anyway, it's a lovely place to grab a coffee or some produce and just explore and relax. There's a food truck we've never tried that looks good, and no doubt we'll try it eventually because we try to come every time we're on the island (but now that there's Grey Barn....). Four sentimental stars.

Adding photos and updating my original review.Founded by a family that's spent generations on Martha's Vineyard, Morning Glory Farm is now entering its second generation of ownership. It cultivates dozens of acres of vegetables, fruits, and flowers here on the island and sells the bounty here at this Edgartown farmstand. Long a seasonal business, this farmstand recently became a year-round operation, and has now expanded into offering baked goods, coffee, and prepared entrees.Indeed, when I stopped by recently, it was the perfect refueling stop, given that we were on a day trip to the Island, had limited time to see all the sights on our bucket list, and no time for sit-down restaurants. A large selection of baked goods and breads were just what we needed for nourishing, even healthful snacking to power us through the day - plus there was readily brewed coffee for a nice caffeine boost. The fruit and produce on display looked abundant, fresh, and gorgeous too. An absolute island gem!

Morning Glory is a great little market in Edgartown. They have a ton of fresh produce and artisan foods. Prepared foods, delicious baked goods, and coffee! I love coming here and supporting the local farm while enjoying some delicious high quality food. Definitely would recommend checking it out.

Ordered sandwiches in advance, arrived and they told us they cancelled our order and were closed. Very rude. We will see if they refund our money!!

Went on a Friday afternoon, June 23rd. It was busy, but had enough parking. Pleasant staff at the registers. If you don't bring your own bags, they have them for 25 cents each. The market is a good size. The baked goods are huge and priced higher than you'd find on the mainland- but that's to be expected. Their produce is top-notch! Hard to decide what we wanted. Definitely recommend!

Price of the pies are up to $29 which feels so wrong. Most of the products at the farm stand aren't even from the farm. Was t even any meat this time we visited. It's just gone downhill every year we've gone in the last 5 years, considerably worse than what's available up island.

Great boutique grocery store! High end products and fresh produce. The baked goods section is also very tasty but at the higher price point.

Best farm stand on the island specializing in local produce. Large variety of local, regional, and international produce and goods. Freshly prepared baked goods and to-go meals. Salad bar. Highlights: pies, bread, local fruits/vegetables, cheeses, jams/jelly, flower bouquets, island-sourced meat, and many specialty items. Moglo Food Wagon serves made to order breakfast and lunch items. They also have special popup themed meals on Saturdays.

The people and the products are top shelf. My family has been coming to this establishment for over two decades and it keeps getting better every year.

I'm happy to have found clotted cream there, and it was reasonably priced. I had the farmers' daughter for breakfast. It's was so fresh and delicious, I forgot to take a picture of it, lol. I will be going back to Morning Glory Farm.

Regarding MG's adage...the reality is in reverse. It's not the family that feeds the island... it's the island that feeds an extended family at exorbitant expense. In one year, the price of granola has doubled. The chicken pot pie for $35. was basically cream, possibly cornstarch....Very little discernible chicken or veggies. I could go on. What the market will bear would be a more accurate adage...I think the good folks at MG will be seeing a slowdown in patronage by the year-round community...too much greed.

Love Morning Glory!! Veggies fresh, bakery breads delish, and appreciate the variety. Love their rye bread and others. One gripe, I had a chicken biscuit from the food truck that was subpar. Chicken was very dry with a burned taste in the crust, not sauced as advertised, and the biscuit was undercooked inside. Must have been an off day, because the last time we tried the truck they had the BEST biscuits and gravy. I will try again soon.

We loved everything about this place. We went on a beautiful day after a huge breakfast. Since we were full, we didn't try the interesting food truck unfortunately. We did take photos and play corn toss. We sampled hot cider and got a few items for later. The fresh cut flowers were glorious and the pumpkins were nicely shaped and colorful.Such a cute place with an amazing selection of items! Fruit, veggies, candy, cheeses, spices and bakery items.
