Great house at 45 Cottage. Pool heating charge should be refunded as company came to clean out leaves day 2 and turned heater off so grand children could not swim! Upstairs shower not functional and ordered part
Otherwise would like to rent same week in cottage street. Again that week around 8/9-8/16. Sat to Sat Please advise on availability and if you can rescind pool charge

We had an absolutely horrific experience staying at 117 Planting field Road. From the moment of check in we were greeted with a barely functioning HVAC system which left several of the bedrooms sweltering in the June heat. Additionally, we paid an additional fee to heat the pool which never seemed to creep up to the promised temperature. We were also met with a non-functioning ice maker, and most concerning, an outdoor shower with nails protruding from the floorboards. When we attempted to rectify these shortcomings, we were met by stonewalling by the owners and the management company.
Needless to say, this property fell well short of the expectations for even a low-cost vacation rental, let alone for a $6,000 per night luxury home. To the extent you are looking for a comfortable high-end experience on Martha’s Vineyard we would recommend you look elsewhere.

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing stay at 29 Meshacket Rd. We had 5 nights on the Vineyard and 2 of the nights were disrupted by fire alarms going off at 4am and 4:30am (for no reason), ruining the next days stay because we were all exhausted. The property manager did answer the phone at these ungodly hours and worked with the alarm company to disarm the alarm, however this took 30 minutes in both cases. We understand that these things happen, but for us, 2 nights in a row is unacceptable. The realty company and the owner do not seem bothered by this disruption, as neither party reached out to apologize or see if there was anything that could be done.
The property is also in desperate need of blinds for the front windows. This house is on a busy street and once it got dark out, you really couldn't have the lights on in the house or you would be exposed for anyone to see directly into the house. The property also needs rug pads under rugs in the dining room, kitchen and stairs. Without rug pads, the rugs bunched up and became dangerous, especially for anyone that had little kids or elderly parents in the home. Lastly, the beach chairs provided did not even fit inside a standard SUV. This house is nice but lots still to be done to make it worth the expensive price tag for the week. We will not be renting this house again.

We came back to this beautifully maintained house for a second time. The management had done a great job with preparing the house to be clean and fresh. Communication regarding rental check in/out, lease agreement was also very good. Point B is a very trusty worthy outfit.
Plan your next vacation rental through them. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Had a bad experience with them and frankly a waste of time. There are easier/more accommodating people on the vineyard!

We rented in Edgartown through Point B Realty. The cottage was spotless and new. The customer service before, during and after was fantastic. Checkin /check out experience was very easy. A lovely business made for a lovely vacation.

The team at Point B are the best brokers I have dealt with on the island. Having had some difficult experiences renting with another broker, I was relieved with Point B at every step. One might expect when renting a vacation home that signing the agreement and picking up the keys is the end of the process, but it is inevitable that a few things come up that require clarification or resolution. Point B was immediately and effectively responsive in every case regardless of time or day, staying involved as much as necessary. I now leave the island with confidence in them for my next rental.
