Trader Fred's still offers good deals on clothing, shoes, beach chairs, boogie boards, and fishing lures. However, many note the old surplus and oddity items are gone. Reviews consistently report unfriendly sales staff and terrible customer service, with a loss of the old town feel. The original owner has not been present for years. While the prices can be cheap, the experience is often disappointing.
Not the same traider Fred's. Should change their name to trader yuppies! All they have is clothing shoes, beach chairs, boogie boards, and 1 rack of fishing lures. All of the surplus and oddity items are gone. Very sad.
