I went into the Home Depot uncertain of what I’d find for Halloween Decorations and when I asked an employee if they had any, the employee stated loudly “What are you blind?! They are right behind you!” Excuse me I don’t make it a habit of scouting an entire store before I approach some1 and having been there only a handful times, I was immediately taken back plus I do wear glasses and what if I was blind? Is that how you approach customer service? God help an actual blind person request help ..

Last week I bought two electronic mouse traps from this Home Depot. When I opened them at home, one had already been used, as evidenced by the crumbled remains of old peanut butter on the bait door. Today I brought back the obviously used trap which was sold to me as new, and the customer service representative was horrified and apologetic. I get my money back and buy a different brand of trap, only to get home and discover it is also a used trap as there is more remains of peanut butter on the bait trap door! I didn't realize that this Home Depot is in the business of reselling used items and passing them off as new. If I could give less than one star I would. Go elsewhere and get products that haven't already been used yet.

I wish there was a lower star I could assign Home Depot. I made an appointment and missed work to be here for an attic insulation and the guy cancels on me 10 minutes before citing that he cannot use a ladder in the house; if its not built into the attic. It would be nice to know this ahead of time when I make an appointment 2 weeks prior. I spoke to a supervisor about this dilemma and he offered no solutions to the matter. No solution to this issue. Stay away.

Amazing experience with the rentals department. I went into home depot to rent a machine or two. Customer service was excellent! They taught me how to use my rental and what I needed. I would recommend this home depot to anyone for rentals.

I ordered a dishwasher from them two weeks ago from the Methuen branch. The earliest delivery date was today. I took the day off work and waited for them to arrive. I was told they would be at my home between 3-7 p.m. I was also told that the driver would call or text when he or she was 30 minutes away. At 7:00 p.m. I hadn't heard anything. I called the delivery service multiple times but never got a person on the line. I called Home Depot and was given the run around for more than an hour. No one knew anything. I never got my dishwasher on the day it was scheduled to arrive and Home Depot did nothing to fix the problem. I would not order from them again, especially for anything needing delivery. I still have no idea what happened because no one seems to know anything.

You know.... every employee is always on the phone or chatting in a group with each other. If you want to ask them a question - they avoid your gaze. What did I do? I had to block them with their cart so they pay attention with me. What did he say? Also this is while he's chatting with his co worker " excuse me " cause I'm in his way. Yes I need to ask you a question on where to find something. Then half of his answers were incorrect so that sent me on a wild goose hunt. They don't sell roof storage for your car by the way. Only one guy which I had to ask again was helpful. This is a store full of zombies. No one knows where anything is! It took so long to find something when I asked them exactly where they would be. Also they really shouldn't start collecting the carts outside only to quit halfway and leave them in the middle of the parking lot.

Albert albert ablert. Custom countertop guy! Albert, this guy is a piece of work. Albert is responsible for ordering custom countertops. Two sundays ago, he flat out stated that he would not be able to help my wife and I because he had to go eat lunch. He had his lunch box out on the desk and said that we'd need to draw a picture of what we needed despite the fact that it was one piece of counter 23"x81.5" of which we had an exact plywood cutout. We asked for a piece of paper to draw a rectangle on with the dimensions for him to fax but at that point we decided enough was enough and left. Lowe's was very helpful in getting the counter top ordered right away.

Their hired hands do a very good job when hired! They stand behind their products and workmanship when hired... And most importantly all of the jobs they do on your home, are insured while working on site.

I recently had occasion to go to the Everett store after my local Somerville Home Depot was out of the lighting product I was looking to purchase. Somerville's computer system indicated that even though they were out of stock the Everett store had 23 packages on hand. I quickly got in my car and drove over to the Everett store. Low and behold after much searching in the light bulb aisle I could not find any of the 23 packages that were supposed to be on hand. Based on that disappointing information I decided to ask for help to search the Everett inventory...and ask for help...and ask for help...and ask for help but get nothing from any of the support staff. At this point I blew my stack and asked for a manager. Low and behold Joe the manager showed up 5 minutes later; calmed me down; listened to my problem and then went about solving it. Forty-five minutes after entering the store and Joe looking at every high storage shelf in the entire electrical department, Joe solved my problem. He did it with a smile on his face and a desire to help a previously frustrated customer. Needless to say I am much appreciative of Joe's efforts and he can be proud that he made one person a lifetime Home Depot customer.

Consistently well stocked, I'm not a fan of self checkout I often only use a cashier with a pulse. Today was simple, everything on my list was in hardware, fully stocked, staffed, and had what I needed. I spend over 10k annually at HD trips like today are like bliss. Maybe it's the small things in like that please the most. @homedepot job well done
