The most unhelpful group of staff I've ever met. I asked them for help locating where the linocut/screen printing materials are and legitimately three employees turned around and asked me "What's that?". I showed them some pictures and they kept asking a different co-worker until one pointed me to the Cricut section (completely unrelated). How do you work at an art store and not know what the materials are. At least care a little bit...

They have practically no fabric! There were 6 small squares of cotton, but nothing else! Every other Michaels I've been to has had rows and rows of fabric. They do have an entire aisle dedicated to sewing machines and accessories... Too bad you won't be able to use them without fabric!

Not amused by how this store is run. Unhelpful and unprofessional staff. Witnessing an item being thrown around by some of them makes me concerned about how they are handled in the store, especially if they're online orders. I was also lied to about not being able to price match an item just because it doesn't look exactly the same online as it does in store. Clearly it was the same item, just with a redesigned label.Checkout is a big hassle. Being questioned right off the bat if I'm paying with cash or card, can't even scan my own items, 99 cents for a bag when I can get a free plastic bag from ordering online. Why does it have to be that way? Either have cashiers behind the counter helping customers or let them be their own cashiers.

It's an excellent place to go when your needs aren't super specific. They've got a decent range of supplies for a wide range of crafts.

Went today to the Everett store for the first time in about a year. Was surprised to find they're now charging 99 cents a bag. I hate it when stores charge for bags. The store comes across as cheap and lacking courtesy. Anyways, an associate joins me at the self checkout and scans my items and asks if I want to buy a bag. I declined. I expected to keep my purchases in my shopping cart and be allowed to take the shopping cart to my car. But without a word, the associate finishes scanning my items and takes the shopping cart away. Then disappears. I ended up carrying my purchases in hand to my car and cursing the associate the whole way. Michaels... I have many options when it comes for shopping for crafts. Online. Other stores. If you want me to come back to your store, stop charging for bags or at the very least allow me to take the shopping cart outside to the parking lot. And train your checkout associates to be more polite.

The people in here can be weird. All walks of life do arts and craft. Why would they hire people who are not crafty is what it seem like, and I can’t quite put my hand on why they would be that way almost as if they hated their job or someone like me, couldn’t do arts and craft. I’ve been an artist, since I was seven years old and this place was definitely disrespectful. How can you love arts and crafts and not be open or non-judgmental crazy? I felt like I was in the twilight zone great place so the way things are place is a little odd as well. Paints over here seemed a little empty spaced out like they didn’t have all the products, but I did find what I needed that day.
