I took my dog to take a bath, I used the self wash dog. It doesn't look like the photo on the Petco website, the structure is very simple, the dryer is horrible, even at strong power it doesn't dry anything! They only give 2 towels, go out with my wet Australian shepherd from there! The service providers are well educated.

Rare that I leave this bad of a review. I've never had TWO employees in one store refuse to help me. The manager says they are too busy and too short staffed to check inventory for me.

Brought my 6 year old dog in for a grooming (he goes every 3-4 months for a shave) for the second time at this location, and honestly, not very impressed. What usually takes 2h took them almost 5.5 hours, and so naturally my dog was fed up and was getting anxious by the end. As a result, they didnt finish his grooming; head and ears not shaved like they were supposed to, nails not trimmed. Left the salon with a traumatized pupper :(

I used to religiously avoid PetSmart because of the horrendous quality of animal care and I was shopping in the plaza so I thought I'd see if anything had changed in the past 3 years since I haven't been in a PetSmart, it has not. Not only were the cages for all the animals smaller than approved by the American Humane society but many of the animals were in smaller plastic boxes inside the already tiny tanks. Not only were the fish tanks disgusting, many of the fish were clearly malnourished and were actively eating each other alive. I did purchase a Betta because he was horribly malnourished, very stressed, had fin rot, and many many layers of scales over his eyes making him blind. When I asked, they refused to discount him for being nearly dead or having major cosmetic imperfections that will negatively affect the rest of his life. I would also like to put out there that I am a manager in the animal department at a pet store with more and larger tanks and enclosures and I have no assigned assistance so I run, clean, feed, and generally care for all of these animals nearly entirely alone and their enclosures look nowhere even close to the awful conditions at this PetSmart.
Needless to say I HATE that I had to give this company $20 for the poor fish but I have the perfect tank for a blind little guy like him with only live and soft decore and I have treated and cared for many blind Bettas in the past. He will never fully be able to see but I am hopeful is scale layers will reduce given that I can see them clearly scraping against other scales around his eyes. Photo is of his better eye, he wouldn't let me see the other one.

Good environment however location is awful to get out of for busy times of the week/day. At times the lines get to be 10-12 people deep on one register and the plaza it’s in has one way in and out. Yikes, waiting to leave the parking lot for 25 mins is not appealing

I frequent this store because it’s the closest pet food store to my home and workplace. Prices have gone up quite a bit like everything else. It’s getting harder to afford having pets now. I won’t take in anymore and never again with these prices.

We asked for help from the staff to reach the heavy 10-gallon glass cage for the snake. The staff pulled the box off the shelf one-handed and smashed the whole package in my arm. He just said are you ok afterward, no apologies, and then walked away. Terrible attitude and no basic manners. Never visiting the store again.

Probably the most unscrupulous predatory business I have ever experienced. They charge hundreds upon hundreds of dollars for basic shots just to get your pet in the door for boarding and then they neglect your pet while under their care. Do not ever let any PetSmart watch your dog or cat, they will get sick and it will cost a fortune. I honestly deeply hate this store and brand for how they have treated my baby.

Lovely people in the store and untrained, inept personnel answering the grooming phones! Appointment was made on the wrong day. Appointment was made for the wrong services. I drove 75 miles and needed to leave as they had nobody to provide the services we needed for our dog. PetSmart locations are good, well stocked. AVOID the Everett, MA location as it lacks proper management and oversight! Use other PetSmart locations.
