Passport appointment was cancelled on spot without prior notice.I took my 10-month-old baby for her passport appointment today. Both parents have to show up on a business day. We arrived early and waited in line, only to be told by the officer Joan, that starting me, she is not taking passport service today and is cancelling my appointment on the spot. Her reason is there's an emergency, which I later found out the emergency is lunch. She put up a sign saying no passport service today. Then I sent my baby and husband to wait in the car and immediately returned in the hope to wait out the "emergency" . Surprisingly, I saw that she is there, taking my next appointment, asking them about details of their application and asked them to fill in forms. She still refused to take me, although it is actually my appointment time. I feel furious and unfair. These people have no respect of other people’s time and are extremely unprofessional and rude.

The service was terrible!!I made an appointment online for passport service and got a confirmation email and everything. However once we got there they said that our name wasn't on the list and that they can't take us. She wasn't rude but the only reason she said she couldn't help us was because she had to go eat lunch. It's just frustrating because we came all the way there for that reason only and we couldn't get that done. They were shocked once they say the confirmation email because this normally doesn't happen, it's just weird that it happened to us of all people.So in conclusion, be careful when making an online appointment here.

Don’t Come Here! The staff don’t not know what good customer service looks like, or what good hospitality looks like either. I went with my family to do my passport 3 times and it didn’t even get done they have countless excuses and at some point embarrassed us personal questions she had no relation to our passport. I had to go all the way to Boston to get my passport done and they did it in instant with good hospitality and kindness.

I showed up with my service dog this morning and they said they couldn't help me unless she was servicing me unless I was blind or deaf (the lady behind the counter claimed it said that on the door but it only said service dogs for people with a disability). When I told her it was for my seizures she still claimed they couldn't service me. This being said, I am very disappointed as I've come in with my dog on numerous occasions and never got this kind of treatment.

Is it common practice for post offices to close prior to their posted hours, or is just this location? On multiple occasions I came about 5-10 minutes before closing and the doors were already locked. I understand it’s shortly before closing but people have busy schedules and rely on posted hours. I take the time to prepare my packages and print the labels at home to make it easier for them. Businesses shouldn’t lock their doors prior to the actual closing time. It’s extremely frustrating as it’s the only semi local office open later but it’s still a 15 minute drive for me. Not to mention the last time I came in, with a labeled package, I was told to come sooner. I shouldn’t need to come sooner if it’s within their hours of operation. I’m missing scheduled delivery times to my clients because of this. Wish someone would address this but I highly doubt it. These places just run however they want.

Need to add more employees to handle the volume of customers entering to use the postal service. Understaffed and painfully slow customer service. Please address this issue.

very rude postal staff at Everett, MA. they don't care if you have 5 year olds and late for your appointment by only a few minutes. They will just cancel and prefer to remain idle than serve the customer. The two ladies should be fired who served the counter at 7 AM on 10/29. They should not be in the customer service business. I hope the government authorities take notice of these rude staff, one of the worst that you can only expect from a 3rd world country. It came to our family as a shock.

rude cough. I have come to make a passport . I had to wait 20 minutes. And when it comes to my appointment, they say you're 10 minutes late. and made me wait for it to be resolved. After looking at my complete profile . They said to make an appointment to come back. I brought 2 kids 2 and 4 years old. it's awful .

We got a bad experience today during we always come here 3 years.We have appointment at 11AM for my daughter’s Passport . Me and my daughter come in soon 5mins and get the line for waiting 10mins before appt (just 2 customer before me). Today ovether Have 2 staffs working: 1 guy and 1 lady, i think one old lady is the manager, she said “ we came late”, she not nice… Maybe she got mad with the costumer before I came, because he took her time a lots by his 20 boxes to send.Before I and my daughter came in inside first. My husband to looking for the parking lot out side around always full and my husband have to pay ticket. they need both parents came with child do the passport that why i have to wait my husband too and both we still waiting my turn 10mins. She told we stand another side wait until more 3 mins and show her see my oldest daughter’s document, and yield “we late” get we go home, make another appoitment for comeback another day. Wth?When we book appt online send a txt not say come before 10mins but we still try too come earlier very appt, i came there before 5mins, wait the line… My daugther she go freeschool very closer there, we pick her up at 10:45am how we late 10mins at 11:10? Why we still make appt? Why another customer behind me get line, one of them no appt and just walk in? We have appt and wait 2 times and go home ? She is so rules, she racist because we a asian. She not say “hi and bye” when we came when we get out there she leave there , both my little girls crying come in car.I never comeback here closer my house

these people need to learn how to get more workers at registers, there is no reason why you should have 3 cashiers and only 1 of them are working. Impatient with customers who do not speak English and or are new to the process of shipping. The lines are long and reach until to the point where the line is just a big curve. Passport appointments make the lines even worse when there’s only one line. There is no reason you should be talking to your coworkers about customers after they leave just for paying in cash for a stamp. It’s unprofessional
