“My favorite Saturday afternoon activity is to visit Hewn in Downtown New Bedford. This is one of my all-time favorite thrift stores, and I have been to many of them throughout the country. The owner is such a wonderful human being, who cares about the community.Hewn has a very unique curated selection of clothing, accessories, and home goods. The prices are very reasonable, and unlike most clothing thrift stores, I feel like I always get a great deal. It’s also curated as gender neutral and the clothes aren’t divided by gender on a label. This place is a gem, a must visit if you are in downtown.”
“My son and I stopped by Circa this past Saturday after a recommendation from a record store owning friend . It's a Gas !! The place is so discreet, if you blink you'll drive right by it !!! You open the green door to enter an entirely different era !! We couldn't stay long, we were pressed for time, but wanted to make sure we were able to find it. The gentleman ( Chris ? ) warmly welcomed us and let us browse without ' lurking' like so many other shop owners do. We didn't buy anything that day, SOOOO much to look through in so little time, but he was just as friendly when we left as when he greeted us !! We will surely be back when we have an afternoon to get lost in time !! Do yourself a favor and seek this place out...it truly is like no other place we've been !! TEN stars !!!”
“Everytime I go there I am never disappointed. The Ladies are welcoming and helpful. They seem to always have some sort of sale. And the clothing is always clean in good used condition. Never disappointedTY Parting Ways.”
“My husband and I really like this great shop. We've been going for years and have bought all kinds of furniture for very reasonable prices. DIfferent items of all kinds all the time. Spacious, easy to browse. Several rooms to explore. I've never left this place empty handed!”
