my 1st time adopting with forever paws this past january, and it was quick, seamless, and just great overall. i had adopted my 1st cat from a different shelter a year and a half ago, and knew i wanted to adopt another but was waiting til i was ready. i follow forever paws on all socials and when they posted a pic of Arizona (now named Clementine) i fell in love with her and applied right then. within 2 days i had an appt to meet her and she has now been home with me & my tabby Blueberry for over a month. they are still getting used to eachother but i know they will be besties soon enough. I am so thankful that I found Clementine. she is such a lovebug, super sweet, funny and such a goober. I love her so much. thank you to Joyce (i think her name was, if not forgive me, i have a terrible memory) for calling me a few days ago to check in with me post adoption, you are so funny and so kind! and thank you to the forever paws staff for making my 2nd adoption so pleasant. if i adopt again in the future i will consider forever paws as my first choice and will recommend to anyone looking to adopt ❤️

When we first had our application approved and went to go see the cats available for adoption this Tuesday, our lovebug Mistletoe came right up to us immediately, and I think we were all set from there— but the environment and staff at Forever Paws is just fantastic, and I got emotionally invested in the happiness of every single one of those beautiful cats, because all of them are just darling and we got such an insight into each one of them by the person who helped us (i wish i could remember his name!!!) and the day of adoption just yesterday on Friday was so exciting and just so easy. Misty has made this place her home so easy, and she's such a good girl. I'm forever in Forever Paws' debt for being responsible for us meeting this wonderful cat, this BIG BABY who LOVES to be held and who purred for HOURS STRAIGHT coming home with us and loving on everybody. Thank you!

My wife and I adopted one of their rescue cats. The staff was thorough and flexible every step of the way. We fostered our kitten for a few weeks, then brought her back for spaying. The facility was clean, the service was professional, the cost affordable, and they render an important public service. Adopt a rescue animal from Forever Paws today!

The volunteers are not allowed to have contact with the animals for whatever reason. I was very upfront with what I wanted to do, walk the dogs, sit with the dogs and was told I would be trained to do that. Well that never happened and it is quite clear the volunteers primary task is chores and very little work with the dogs which is what I volunteered to do. I don't mind doing chores, but I volunteered also to be with the dogs. I found the staff on many occasions rude to the volunteers which I might add we are there out of the goodness of our heart and are not getting paid for the work we do. It was a very disappointing experience for me and not what I had envisioned. I would suggest they be more up front with the volunteers and inform them they will not be around the animals the way they think they will be, it will lessen disappointment down the road for all involved. I will now be looking to volunteer at a shelter that allows you to walk the dogs and sit with them.

FPAS provides care of the highest order to animals. They are a well established shelter with high standards and expectations. They have saved countless of animals, and have found forever homes for each one that comes into the shelter.

I would give no stars. It’s like they don’t want people to adopt dogs, I’ve adopted ferrets within a 5 days here but I’ve been trying to adopt a dog for over a month and no luck with them. I probably went to the shelter in person 5 times to get things going/ figured out and the front desk lady would roll her eyes and give my partner and I attitudes it’s not like they need people to adopt dogs tho??♀️.Best check out other places or even buy from breeders at this point.

You apply for adoption and then you keep calling to see what they desided and Never a phone call..Never again will my wife and I ever bother with forever paws because that's how long you will have to wait for a answer..

Unfortunately this shelter is not very professional at all. They do not have any regard or consideration for the potential adoptees. I had adopted a cat and was waiting for a call. When I called, they told me they had let the cat go to another home. I understand shelters need to make sure their animals are adopted to good homes, but when you have filled out all the paperwork and have done everything they have asked, the animal should be given to you (or sold as they are not free). I'm sure there have been many people over the years that have been very disappointed and upset when they had their heart set on an animal and were told it's now gone. Unfortunately, we will never do business with Forever Paws. Please be careful.

I recently adopted a 11 weeks old Tortie named Forte. The adoption process was seamless and meeting all the kittens before choosing one was wonderful. She was already given her first set of shots and was spayed and they will also do the second and rabies shots, and removing sutures. I had a great experience. Forte (renamed Mila) fits in perfectly with the rest of the house pets and is not at all afraid of my 2 large labradors. Everyone is in love. Thank you!

Forever Paws takes very good care of every animal that are brought to them. They're very honest about the health of each pet and even has a veterinarian on site. After losing our 17 year old cat, Peewee, back in May we were finally ready to adopt again, and was introduced to Forever Paws from a coworker/friend. We adopted 11 week old, Sorento. In just a few hours he has stolen our hearts & is adjusting very well to his new surroundings. We are truly grateful for Forever Paws.

I have rescued from Forever Paws 3 times!! The staff are amazing. I have seen folks complain about pricing. It is expensive to own and care for animals. The pricing includes the care and medical needs of the pet you are adopting. Honestly if the price is a concern then perhaps you need to rethink owning a pet! I will always be thankful to this amazing shelter. You didn't give me dogs you gave me family members !!! Eternally thankful, Kellie Rudoloh

This is my second black cat from forever paws and I have 4 black cats in total. Matilda (Now Luna)is the sweetest girl! When adopting her, the process was so easy and they were very thorough. It took a little while for her to come out of her shell but now they are all cohabitating nicely! Thanks Forger Paws!
