However, service at the front desk was sometimes lacking, with reports of disinterested staff and difficulty reaching management. Checking in could be problematic due to pre-paid room policies, and some guests had to pay out of pocket when authorization forms were required. The pool was not available during the visit. Safety concerns arose from loud, ongoing criminal activity in the parking lot, with reports of loud partying, alcohol, weed, and loud music late into the night, which disturbed guests with early mornings. The hotel’s environment was sometimes affected by smoke odors, and the parking lot was close to a busy, noisy area. Despite these issues, nearby attractions like Battleship Cove and a recommended Greek-style pizza place add to its appeal.
