Rude. Young lady snap at me. I had to ask her to politely calm down. Then another person and the young lady told me that you can pass a tick virus from one dog to another. Which is totally false. Directly from my vet over the phone. They still wouldn't continue the appointment asked me to reschedule. No thank you.
I don't want them working on my dog if they get so stressed out over so little things.

It’s very appalling that their bathrooms have been out of order since Covid hit, I can understand if you don’t want to open up to the public but I believe an exception should be made when it comes to a child and not have rude workers say “ oh no we can’t even use the bathroom ourselves “ so I asked where do they go to the bathroom during their shift and they couldn’t respond without an attitude! Oh and thats nothing the dog cookie treats near the first isle to the right past the cash registers when you walk in were FULL OF MAGGETS ! I will no longer do business there , I rather take the 15 minute ride to Petco in Dartmouth where the associates treat customers with respect and have operating bathrooms, specially for people with small children!

Horrible employees. I just had an horrible experience. It's been working on cycling my tank for weeks. Excited to go and get my new fish and was denied in an extremely rude way by a young girl with glasses and bangs.

The place is always understaffed but the staff that are there, despite being overworked and probably underpaid are always friendly and helpful. They seem to have an excellent knowledge of the fish they sell. They offer free water testing but they use strips. They should use a high quality liquid test system for more reliable results.
I've bought several fish, and all but 1 survived and thrived. They gave me no trouble returning the dead fish.
Prices are good and selection is ok.

The people were very nice and the grooming service was amazing! My dog came out like a whole new dog, and he smelled so good with the spray they used.

The store as a chain tends to be very pricey, especially versus online retailers. However, the staff at this location is what makes it a five-star for me.
My most recent experience with one of the supervisors was above expectations. She was super helpful when I came to her with my rescue pups collar that had rusted less than 7 weeks from purchasing it. Unfortunately, I didn't have my receipt, but she was able to exchange it for a different one. She was polite and helpful, and I truly appreciate it.

I went there with my two dogs and they tortured my boy. I told him to leave the beard and they shaved him completely down he did not look like my dog. I wanted to cry and they crate my dogs which I did not like because my dogs are not crated at all. I do not know what they used on my dog because they smell horrible, even though they supposedly gave them a bath, my dogs were frightened when I picked them up they will never go there again. I will take him back to the old groomer who did a really nice job on them all the time and the girl was very rude and just respectful. Every time they took my dog out of the crate he pooped and then they put him back in the crate and took him back out again to cut more of him pooped again because he was scared. They frightened my poor dogs.

We made an online appointment 2-3 hours for a bath and haircut for our fluffy Jack Russel at Fall River MA. After waiting nearby for 3 hours they told us it would be another 1.5 hours. We went in to find he had a bath and spent 2.5+ sitting in a cage (we don’t crate our dogs so this was traumatic for him). The groomer who was supposed to give him his haircut walked in with take out food and said she needed to eat before she started on his haircut. We sprung him from puppy jail and said don’t bother. We went to pay for the bath ($26) and they tried to charge us for haircut ($70). We got that straightened out, but needless to say, we won’t be back to that location. Traumatized our dog, and now we still have to pay a different groomer for a bath and haircut. What a waste! By the way, our scheduled groomer was K**s, I’ve now seen other reviews complaining about this person, only to have Petsmart block them from being able to make future appointments. We travel (Florida in winter, Massachusetts in summer) so I hope one bad apple does not block us from all the wonderful Petsmart locations we frequent.

I forgot to write this but brought my 6 month old lab during a holiday rush for a grooming appointment. He still had alot of training to do. We got him at 4 months He had a late start But is a very friendly kind dog. Now this was his 3rd visit and always seemed to be loved by staff. 2 groomers came out who were clearly over booked and stressed. But my issue is they were highly condescending and rude assuming the worst. plus my dog still didn't smell like he had a thorough bath. I nearly bit my tongue off trying not flip on them. Plus my bill was double then normal! I will never have a animal groomed by the unprofessional staff at this location. Get facts before you come at a customers throat.

I'm not from this area so I normally schedule my grooming at PetSmart in Cambridge and they have been nothing but amazing. I used Fall River once before and the groomer was great, sorry I don't remember her name.
The groomer today was Kass and she was the exact opposite of the great service we typically get. She seemed hurried and bothered even though we were early, almost like she didn't want to be there. Enzo picked up on it showing his discomfort when she hurriedly put his leash on.
I pointed out a small area of matting on his right ear and she insisted she need to shave his ear, I replied he gets these all the time and they brush right out with a steel comb. She replied unless you allow me to shave his ear we can't perform his grooming today. I then asked can you just leave it and I'll brush it out later? She replied no that I would need to reschedule.
At that point it felt like she was looking for any reason to get out of there so Enzo and I happily obliged.
I had a steel comb in my car so I gave it a shot and the mat combed right out.
I'm going back to Boston so I logged back in to make an appointment at his normal location (Cambridge) only to find out I have been blocked from making any appointments online.
In conclusion, my appointment was late in the day (2:30), leading me to feel that Kass was probably tired and wanted to go home. I understand, we all have those days but to add salt to the wound and cancel the inability to make an appointment in Cambridge was the last straw and I no longer trust my dog to be anywhere near PetSmart.
You win... You will never see Enzo or myself in any of your stores again.
